Lovely small, quiet site close to the river with stunning views.
Great pub a short walk away and in a village with lots of character.

The site is in a lovely location and close to a good pub. Nice to have all in one shower, toilet and sink. Pitches are well spaced and grass pitches are hedged. Good to have gravel path to toilets.

I have stayed here before and returned because it's a lovely little site and location but there is one big downside. The cleanliness of the toilets and showers is appalling. It has been two years since I stayed last and the situation is just the same. The floor was covered in mud and the shower area needed a deep clean. I asked the owner by txt (as there is no one on site) if they would be cleaned and was told her husband cleans them after feeding the cows in the morning. It's obvious they only get a basic clean once a day and that turned out to be 10.15 a.m after we had used them as the time to leave site is 11.00 a.m.
We had to clean them ourselves washing the floors so we could at least stand on them without getting dirty feet. I understand in wet weather the floor can be dirty but the mud is so engrained from lack of proper cleaning it won't come off. There is grime and bugs that were there two years ago on the window sills! The whole place needs a deep clean and the floors bleached. It's no good the farmer going in in muddy wellies to clean. They should also be cleaned twice a day.
Such a shame as we really like the site .

Easy communication and accepted us as very last minute bookers. Instructions were easy and the site was small and comfortable.

Very quiet and pretty location. Lots of walks in the area.

Washing-up station broken. Facilities only cleaned twice during a 6 day stay.

Peaceful rural location. Like a mini retreat. The local pub ( 5 mins walk) was excellent. Fab Sunday lunch.
Lovely hot water showers.

Toilets / showers all fine but weather was cold and last morning the heater had disappeared.
Tricky to get rid of waste water. Could be better located. We had to drive in muddy grass.

What a lovely to stay lovely hot showers and very clean. It's a great place to stay with lots to do around the area. The owner was very nice and welcoming. We will be back in the summer for sure. Almost for got the pub is 8mins walk and do very nice food.

The walk up to the Severn estuary. Amazing when you get there, the view of the fields and the sun across the water was amazing. The site itself is basic but it was clean with 6 Hardstanding pitches, bins, water and waste disposal. Everything required for a quiet and peaceful night away.
