We absolutely loved this campsite. There is so much to see here that is just a walk away. Beaches, the harbour, the castle, and a pub right on your door step. The facilities were clean and the showers were lovely and warm. Will definitely be returning next year

We booked for one night at Watermouth Valley Camping Park. We are a family of 4, middle aged couple and our girls(8 and 10 years). This was our first camping experience with a tent and we loved it. There is a clear sign at the entrance, that you need to head to reception to check in. The guy was very welcoming and explain everything very well. We put our tent up and went down to the beach. That bit was a little bit confusing, because the sign said that the beach is 300 yards away, which is true, but with 300 stairs as well :). I didn't like the idea, but actually it wasn't as bad as it looked like. Going down doesn't take more than 5 minutes, going back up to the camping can take up to 15 minutes.The camping side is very nice and clean, the showers and toilets were clean and private. There is a very nice play park for kids, badminton, tennis, table tennis and a little shop with reasonable prices. We haven't used the wifi, so I can't comment on that one.
We will be definitely coming back.

The night we stayed there was very windy, but it's just a side comment to moan, it wasn't the camping park's fault at all.

Lovely site, quiet, close to bus stop/beach/castle. Friendly helpful staff. Owners put out play equipment for people to use ie. Tennis racquets and net. Table tennis tables. Even offered to let us bottle feed their two lambs.

Lovely dog friendly park, washing facilities were clean and being able to have a fire pit was great.

Amazing sea views, toilets and showers clean and good, really nice family owners. Gave us a free upgrade too. Plenty of walking, Coastal path from both ends of site, nice little harbour yards away too. The climb up to the round tower on the hill above the harbour gives an amazing view.

Nothing, however if you want the sea view pitches, be warned it's a bit of a hill from the toilets. Not a critisism any way, we enjoyed the exercise, and the flatter, lower pitches are equally lovely, quiet and quite large.

Great campsite with excellent facilities - clean, well maintained toilets and showers and lovely children’s play area & selection of games. Kind and helpful people at reception. We booked last-minute, so weren’t able to secure the ocean-view spots, which look fantastic!! Also, close to Watermouth Castle, which is a must for families with young children!

Bit of road noise, but not off-putting.

The campsite was an extremely pleasant surprise. I hadn’t researched it much as I booked last minute, so was unaware of the breathtaking setting and views. The staff were very friendly, and facilities were great too.
My son and I arrived late-evening, grabbed a couple of freshly cooked pizzas on site, and walked up the hill to eat them watching the sun set.
