Toilet block needs a refresh.

Superb site with loads of things to do for the children. Beautiful grounds and lovely views.

Toilets weren’t great but acceptable considering the low price to pitch up.

Good activities for the kids reasonably priced
Liked that as a family we were all able to pitch together in a group making a great social hub for family and friends.

Not a site for Motorhomes, poor access to water and no drain access to empty grey water, Elsan point to far away, pitches not clearly marked, at 250 acres in size the only main washrooms / toilets we found were a trek and near the main entrance, poorly maintained and cleaned… having disabled parents with us my dad had to drive to the facilities as too far to walk and the toilet and wash facilities did not appear to be cleaned or stocked once in our weeks stay. For the rest of us our nearest facilities were a portacabin.
When booking we asked about access to the lake as we like our water sports and paddle boarding, we were told we could access any time as long as we stayed away from there own activities which was fine but this wasn’t the case, after driving to the lake , blowing up our sup”s and carrying them down to the lake we were told we couldn’t enter the water until after 4.30/ 5 pm due to there activities and staffing.
The kids activities were good but very repetitive .
Only 30 people allowed in the icy cold pool at once and the access from the pool to the toilets is locked whilst the pool is open so if you need the toilet whilst in the pool you have to walk right around the outside. They only have 2 trained lifeguards so on the hottest day of our stay neither of them were working so the pool was closed and we had to travel further afield and pay another facility.

There was space for us to move and not too close to other campers pitches were a very decent size.

The toilets and the shoes were vile .. absolutely disgusting.. there was what looked like sewage coming up from one of the showers through the plug hole .. the floors were absolutely disgusting .. the toilets were the worst I’ve seen on any campsite .. not cleaned once in our 3 night stay. Also vehicles coming fast at the tops of the camp site where children and adults are about.

We loved the size of the pitches which were a massive 15x15 metres! Everyone was nicely spread out so not on top of each other. It was great to be able to have our own BBQ and open fire if we wanted. It was handy having the shop for essentials (ice cream) definitely the best site we have been to.

Loads of space to camp and no problems with electric.
The staff are amazing can’t do enough for you and activities great, our kids loved them all.

Quiet after 1030pm

We were on the top field which we liked for the space but quite a walk from anywhere to clean our dishes up.
The toilets could do with more regular cleaning and showers in pool area too

Activities, pub with pool table, food was tasty, staff were friendly and helpful

Food wasn’t always sold anywhere on camp, toilets were dirty, pitch was a swap when we got there, pool not open till after 2pm, no private changing area, activities were expensive for a whole family
