We got to choose where to put our pitch and we were the only ones on site. Other reviews mention busy road close by and while this is true, it never disturbed us. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Tony and Rosarin were absolutely lovely and we appreciated everything they did so much. They offered us an extra two nights free because of the extreme weather conditions and Tony brought us a hose to fill up our pool. They were so kind and we felt very well looked after. The site is secure as the gate is kept locked and we were given keys to get out. Lots of camera watching the gate and cars as well, we felt comfortable leaving our possessions on site. We had a wonderful stay and I definitely would love to stay at the site again! Thank you so much

You clearly were not happy when we politely requested you do not place your small tent under any of our large trees. You did place your daughter and yourself at risk.
You failed to relocate your one person tent after numerous polite requests.
I am responsible for site health and safety and you did disregard our friendly advice.
We take great care of our site and all guests while on site.
We work extremely hard to provide a secure and safe site and will continue to do so for the safety of our guests.
Our shower facilities are exceptional and are held in high regard by guests, regularly commented as the best guests have ever seen.
Sorry if your visit did not meet your high standards, but we do not agree with your fake review.

The Friday market in Uppingham is a treasured fresh produce provider, Nelson's butchers and the Hambleton bakery provide excellent treats to enjoy a BBQ while sat around a campfire in site.
