Thankfully a staff member came to our rescue and pulled us out with a tractor. It was a shame for the kids that they couldn't use the play park without having to pay to get in but the weather was awful anyway. We based ourselves here to get out hiking for a few days.

So much to do at Thornton hall, we arrived on the 29th march and just set up and stayed the campsite for the night. On the 30th we took part in the Eggventure for the kids, they loved every part and really took interest. Our son loved the quad bikes, the egg hunt and the show they had to offer where all kids got involved. Great quality for the price! The toilet block for the campsite is very clean and modern! Thank you for the great service! Unfortunately we had to leave a day early due to weather but we enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Lovely area. Staff were amazing. We got a late check out and didn't have to pay a fee. 50% off entry into the park as we stayed on site. I had my daughter staying in a tent so requested for us to be close and they pitched us perfectly. Could not ask for a better service. Will return next time we want a cycling/walking and skipton break. And, a beautiful place to see stars on a clear night.
Non mi è piaciuto: The shower cubical is literally a shower and a couple of hooks. Small space to get dried and dressed in. I should've taken a towel robe in and showered, then dried and dressed back in caravan.
