This is a really laid back place. Chill vibes and surprisingly quiet (other than the train). Lovely shop & restaurant on-site with basic camping food and pizza. Big portions! Love that fire pits are allowed on-Site. Great for our group to turn up and be able to set-up next to eachother as there weren't assigned pitches. Loved it! AND there was always toilet roll in the loos!

Big camping site, plenty of toilets and washing up sinks, showers are clean, the one for family is big enough especially if u have multiple kids, u can take them all at once. We loved the little play area for kids, overall very nice and well kept. We loved the goats, the mini shop for ice cream and all sorts with reasonable prices, we paid 1£ per lolly. Walking distance to the village and nice riverside walk full of boats.

Great site! Really enjoyed it. All facilities are pretty good. Has a little shop, bar and serves food! Great atmosphere in the evening by the bar. Can hire a fire pit if needed. Staff are really friendly and helpful! Kids loved the goats, parrots and the playground. We are definitely coming back!

Loved everything.
Pitch was perfect, toilets & showers absolutely cleaner than clean. Staff were friendly and lovely food on site along with the farm kitchen style take away food was lovely. We loved the atmosphere and the goats too. The little shop on site is reasonably priced too. We can’t comment on the wifi as we didn’t use it but the signal in the area isn’t great.

My only moan that stopped this being a 10 out of 10, we arrived and weren’t planned in for a pitch. We booked a 2 night stay with electric hook up, due to being overbooked we could only stay the one night and had to leave early. Not the biggest issue for us as we’re fairly local, it was just a pain and no refund was offered.

What a treat! Absolutely magical, we had no problems whatsoever. A definite add to the list to come back again, a quirky little campsite! it was a quiet, undisturbed atmosphere which we enjoyed,peaceful but fun. Even down to the local area which made the campsite spot an even more pleasent stay for us all. The facilities were clean which is very useful for longer stays which we like, an overall different in-a-good-way vibe which made us all pretty much enjoy every second of our stay. Will definitely book again!

Train line by the campsite, trains run during night, often blasting horn.

Great location, we walked along the canal to the Brasenose Arms in the village. The showers were clean and we never had to wait for the toilet or a shower. The animals were lovely to see and the girls were so polite and informative when training the owls and talking to guests.
