Quiet, clean and friendly campsite!

Brilliant site, fantastic welcome. All the amenities needed and amazing food.

Lovely clean site friendly hosts. Good facilities. Nice walk for myself and the dogs.

Toilets were good quality with showers in, plenty of them. Stayed in the week and it was quiet, couldn’t hear the pub from where we were, pitches are good sizes and couldnt hear the people nearby.

Excellent - clean facilities, great location with nice views and good base for tissington and high peak trails.
Pub on site was handy and did good food with good portion size.
Staff at both camp site and pub very friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful and knowledgeable and helped with any queries re the camp site or other places to visit.
Will go back again.

The site was flat, very nice views and walks. There is a pub on site which served meals. Site staff and bar staff were very nice and helpful. Ther is a sister site and pub very near just a short stroll over field which was also very good.

We walk to monyash which was a lovely walk but quite steep to walk back. Overall a lovely few nights away. Would visit again.

Main road is busy and can be a bit noisy but did not bother us too much.

The ease of checking in. The dize of the site. Decent dized pitches. The food at the pub. The location. Never had to wait long for a loo. Waking up to the sound of donkeys braying.

This used to be a lovely quiet site but unfortunately on this occasion it was very noisy. Lots of unsupervised children screaming in the play area of the pub garden, especiallylate at night. People blasting their stereos. A large mens BBQ. If there was a football match on at the same time we were unaware due to other noises drowning it out. No hot water at night when trying to shower. Water pressure on dishes sinks no more than a trickle and again no hot water. Wifi signal very poor and kept dropping out.

Views. Quietness. Size of pitch.

Only 2 out of 3 working toilets. One shower had no shower head. Glad the site was quite empty.

I liked everything about this site. It was clean, maintained and the staff were friendly. It was a quiet site which was really good to especially of an evening when going to sleep

Not really a dislike but more maybe a suggestion. 3 toilets in total and 2 with showers which was great but that just leaves one loo when the showers are occupied. Maybe a couple of additional toilets could be added in the future.
