Perfect location, beautiful surroundings, facilities are clean, locals are so friendly, calm and peaceful site, I cannot wait to get back to the site next year

Fabulous, immaculately clean facilities. Level pitches. Friendly welcome from Mel. A quick call ahead meant we could arrive early and whilst this might not always be possible it was great to get camp set up and make the most of the day. Pub offering great food and a warm welcome next door. Definitely recommend this peaceful site and we will be back. Thank you!

Toilet block could have been cleaner

Clean and tidy site. Good sized showers and toilets. Bathroom blocks clean.

Pitch could have done with being a bit more level, noisy road during day, but quiet at night. No WiFi signal. Not necessarily a bad thing, but had to go to pub to send a text 😂🍻

Fantastic toilet and shower blocks that look to have been very recently refurbished. Beautiful views of the dales surround the site. The owner was friendly.
The pub next door was an added bonus.

Electric hook up on our pitch could do with updating as it tripped out and took out the power to all the motor homes that were connected to it.

Good facilities with nice modern clean toilet/shower block and washing up area. The site is small so there was no queuing for toilets or washing up. Only 2 showers so you may have to queue for those at busy times.

Tent pitches a good size and marked with your name so easy to find on arrival. Request on booking to be near the toilet block was granted so I could watch when the kiddies needed the toilet.

Pitches are level enough and stepped to go downhill to the end of the field. Not sure what it would be like at the very bottom after days of rain as my pitch was waterlogged and I was at the very top of the tent field.

Pub next door for food but a bit expensive. Didn't use but had looked on their website.

No area really for small children to play only around your tent area or unless there was a free pitch where they could kick a ball.

The site is right next to a road. Where I was pitched, next to the hedge separating the field and the road, when a large vehicle went past at speed, the tent moved with the draught. If I had to camp here again I would request a pitch on the left hand side of the field next to a large field.
