Nice well maintained camping area

Pitches to close together and a bit noisy at night

The site is really big which gave us plenty of walks for the grandchildren

We booked a grass pitch as grandchildren were sleeping in the awning. We were given a hard standing pitch. As we booked with pitch up and not direct they wouldn’t talk to us. School holidays so expected it to be busy.
The pot wash was quite a distance to carry all the pots so had to do it in 3 runs. The toilets /showers weren’t great, very dark, not very clean and showers were very dirty, there were items of clothing lots of razors, hair balls left in showers and flooded floors. Would not return.

A very nice place for a family holiday, with lots of children's activities.
Clean area, toilets, friendly employees, everything is well maintained.
It can be said that there is everything you need for a good vacation.

Large site, lots of entertainment options including swimming. The arcades were cash free which was useful. The whole reception area/ pool/ entertainment hub was really nice and there's on site burger bar.

We popped to the outdoor bar area in the evening with the children so they could play on the park and the whole area was busy but filthy, loads of overflowing bins, rubbish everywhere, tables unclean. The female showers were out of order and door locked so couldn't use toilets in there but we weren't notified, just a sign on the door- the alternative unisex toilet doors locks were broken

Nice quiet spot, friendly staff. Facilities reasonable.

Issues with shower, staff tried hard to resolve.

Close location to Withernsea and Hornsea.

On arrival, poor signage and parking for touring caravans, at reception my welcome was "do you have photo ID?" At no point was I made aware that this was required, I did receive two emails promising a phone call prior to the stay, but did not receive. Most of touring pitches are closer to the evening entertainment. Noise levels from evening entertainment until 12 midnight .Difficulty sleeping due the noise .
Cant escape the noise starting from 6.30 till midnight
Only òne toilet block ladies side with two showers in total the end one which had a pool of dirty water on floor with no where to drain. Sand all over floor of showers. Toilets were not clean and often the outer door was left unlocked .
Mens toilets main door was unlocked all week
Three toilets only one with a working lock
Two showers only one with a working lock
Water tank overflow running for three days a bucket was put under and nothing else was done so it very quickly overflowed .
Toilet roll available but not in the dispensers .

The views and location.

Tourers!! We booked on pitch up said it was quiet from 11pm the club was banging out tunes till gone midnight was woken up Friday night screaming laughing till 3am awful! The toilet waste had every man poo all over it! The shower blocks was unuseable vile very dirty poo everywhere. The site is obviously aimed at static caravan users and no consideration for the tourers or motorhomes.
