Great pitch right by the river. Lovely and peaceful with the occasional boat, paddle boarder or swan floating by. Great, clean toilet facilities. Nice setup with the fire pits.

I was on my own this time but I would definitely visit with my children - a nice play area and friendly sheep roaming around.

Nice pub a short walk away and a bunch of excellent dog-friendly hikes very close.

Owner made everything easy. Playground stayed cool for the kids as surrounded with trees.

No showers or hot water but knew that beforehand
Booked as near boathouse pub which was unfortunately closed for maintenance.

Great location & very relaxed.

The owners are very welcoming and helpful if needed.
Pretty busy with plenty of children enjoying themselves boarding or canoeing. Very social stay.

Facilities are a little bare but we knew that before booking.
Refurbished toilets and a shower block would make this site perfect.
This didn’t detract from us having an enjoyable stay though and are already planning to revisit next year.

Lovely location next to the river, pub restaurant just up the road and of course teapot island. Owners are friendly and helpful

Shower facilities would be amazing even an outside would be greatly appreciated.

Absolutely stunning location right by the river. Very peaceful. Felt secure with the site being locked with those staying having keys to get in and out. Staff were great and helpful. Train station is right on the doorstep if you wanted to travel by train, strangely I didn't actually hear any trains though. Lovely walk I to local village. Great play area for children within a wooded area, so they can play whilst staying out of the sun.
