The pub we popped in for a drink and honestly it was such a perfect old classic type pub, 40p for pool table! Bargain we had a couple of games and enjoyed it, the Sunday dinner smelt and looked beautiful and we deeply regret not booking in for food, the decor of the pub and beer that was served gave of the lovely idea of supporting local businesses in terms of the beer served, it’s nice to see a pub which still holds tradition in comparison to crappy weather spoonsNon mi è piaciuto: Been so close to the park did have its downfall, 6 in the morning and kids from a few pitches over thought it was a Great time to bounce scream n shout, again we made it work, sadly that is the parents fault and not the campsite owners at all, so when I do stay again I would try and get a pitch away from the park just for that reason, the toilet and showers was usable but I wouldn’t say clean, the floor was only mopped on the Monday as we left but it hadn’t from what I noticed been done since, tampon product bin was over flowing still so I wouldn’t say great standereds in terms of that. however I used it it did the job and they was toilet paper at all times so win win , we were out in nature I wouldn’t expect 5** especially with the rain which just made the floor look filthy so yeah it is what it is, and I did the clean the sink just because 😂 didn’t use the showers so can’t comment,
We did have an issue with the electric tripping with the rain, but didn’t need to alert the owners as this was an easy fix which my partner just flipped the switch and we was back on no issues really, again we expect this as it happens at home,

Thankyou for your review, just to let you know the £20 charge as stated when booking is for more than 2 dogs we allow 2 dogs free per pitch any more than 2 and we have a charge of £20 this is due to occupancy levels mainly, glass recycling is provided in the recycling bins on site, the pub also has a bin next to the pub which is for mixed glass only, i must say we are always approachable for these types of questions and given the clarity we could have given this sort of thing could have been avoided thanks

Hi, your review is not acrurate at all the play park is brand new and is perfectly safe and secure, the toilet block is cleaner every single day by myself we disinfect and bleach them every day, we have new fans ready to be installed and the water pressure in afriad is just down to our rural location not only this but had you ready any of the information you could have spoke to us in person instead of leaving a disgusting review when I myself work very hard to make sure I clean the toilets every day, we cannot and will not follow every single person in to the toilets to clean up after them and it is just an impossible task, if we were to employ a cleaner instead to maintain these toilet bollock 3 times a day the price per night would have to rise significantly, I beleive this review is just down to the fact that you were spoken to about not watching your children playing on the tractor and play park and were allowing them just to do as they pleased which again it is 100% mentioned on every sign that children must be supervised, the play park is more than adequate and everyone else has said how great it is so I believe this is just becuase you did not like being told to monitor your children’s activities while on site, we are glad you will not be coming back to our site as the behaviour you showed was discusting Thankyou for not returning l

It have any becuase we did not do any contradicting your selves many times there we make it very clear that we do home cooked food not fast food and our opening times are very clear, we are open during summer Tuesday to Sunday serving food each day we open from 5- late earliest closing time being 9pm depending on cutters present Monday to Saturday, Sunday is 12-6pm serving Sunday lunch 12-3pm during the winter we close on a Monday Tuesday and Wednesday this is all over the pub, we have put this down to your reaction to our disapproval of breaking our site rules, many thanks for never returing in the future
