Lovely staff couldn’t do enough.

The Site is so well kept, its clean, tidy. the pitches are of ample size and well spaced. the facility's are also great. showers are hot, spacious and well thought out. the park is walking distance from the town with a good choice of places to eat.

A doubler edge sword really, the site is situated on a main road, which is great for access, but there's a fair amount of road noise during the day/ Evening.

Very friendly and helpful,very clean site,all in all for our first time caravan if it was a pleasure,would stay there again!!!
Just to add the pitches were well adequate.

Site was lovely. Grounds well kept. You had wildlife around you from squirrels to magpies and robins. Just over the trees you have to steam train blowing its whistle. You could see Bala lake at certain points at the top of the campground. The shop staff / owners were very friendly. The amenities were good. Due to the time of our visit most of the caravans around us were empty. The camping area was in use mostly, just bear in mind that as your in Wales you will probably be on a slope as we were.

There are a few things that bugged me as a female and the first was the cleanliness of the toilet block. The sanitation bins were full and overflowing in some of the toilets. That’s not nice for anyone to see. The second were the toilets and sinks, they were not cleaned properly. I tended to use the same couple of toilets and once you spot something you tend to look to see if it’s still there every time you use it. I spotted hairs on the underside of the toilet lid, dust on top of the toilet roll dispensers. Cobwebs on the hinges to the wall etc. The sinks still had the same marks and dust inside them from one end of the day to the other. I will say that women can be just as bad as men because the amount of water all around the sinks was disgusting but if the toilet block is cleaned regularly throughout the day this can be combated by perhaps leaving a notice and a cloth for us women to use to clean up after ourselves. The third thing are the showers. Great they leave a squeegee mop to push the excess water down the drain but the drains clog up quickly with hair so they perhaps need to clean them more frequently. I do like the cubicles for the shower but as a woman who likes to use her own shampoo etc it would be nice to have an extra storage space on the wall to put her wash cloths and hair and body wash bottles. I had to use the floor for the bottles and balance my cloths on the cubicle high above my head only being 5”1’. All being said a few improvements would make it a 5 star rating. I would probably visit again because it was peaceful and overall a nice site.

Everything about the site was very good. The shower and toilet block was kept clean (if only people would clean up after themselves) staff very friendly and helpful

Didn't realise it was so hilly but I suppose that's the area we were in. Didn't do my knees much good up and down that slope.

Really good pitch setup, great location, BBQ and fire facilities. Amazing amenities block

Site was lovely, facilities were immaculate! So easy to go into the near by village and to get to the lake also. Will definitely come back again!
