Quiet and peaceful (if anything we were the noisy ones due to our 5 month old, sorry 😬). Facilities were spectacular, large shower block and toilets. Large level pitches. Bins and elsan easy to find. WIFI on each pitch. Had a week here and its a strong contender for when we eventually decide to choose a seasonal pitch location.

Sorry to hear you wouldn't recommend us or choose to stay again but did you mention any of these problems to staff when you were on site in August? There is very little we can do after you have left the site...
Yes it was £80 for your stay (not £85) but it was also high season (in fact it was Bank Holiday weekend - our busiest time of the year), and you knew the price upon booking so if it was too expensive, maybe you should have looked elsewhere? We are in a prime location for the lake and town and have very high end facilities meaning, yes we are not the cheapest site, but we are well worth the money!
We hope you change your mind and give us another try, maybe at a quieter time of the year if you are looking for a more peaceful stay.
