Shop and cafe on site. Pretty friendly site overall.

Check in was chaotic, had to wait as the only lad who knew how to do it was on lunch. Staff in general were nice but definitely under trained. Pitch was solid concrete, no good for an awning so we had to straddle the grass communal areas. Pitch layout in middle confusing. Toilets and showers dated and only one working bulb in one and two in the other, doors struggle to close, basic maintenance. Shower token system needs explaining on arrival. The whole site was untidy, large weeds, and generally unkempt.

Location to park and ride is only a short drive

-Communication skills from staff, pretty much left to your own devices which is fine if you don’t need anything
-Checking in and out was poor (no check out box when reception was closed)
-Needed a maintenance person doing daily rounds (wood left, glass broken in the washing up area, needed repairs and a good clean round)
-Cafe/reception didn’t open until 10am
-On site with a pound stretcher and animal park open to public

This camp site is really poor I wish I had read more reviews before I booked . I could not find anyone to check us in when we got there and the staff in the cafe were no help at all although they were trying but a lack of training didn't help . The guy cutting the grass showed us to a pich and we were left to get on with it . The shower block was poor and old and had to have tokens bought from the cafe which closed at 4pm so after that you couldn't use them. The site itself was poorly maintained and parts of it looked like a thistle farm . It is probably the worst site that we have stayed on ever we never saw anyone on it or coming and going for all it was the height of the season . I don't think touring is a priority for them as the entry to the wild life park and the Pound stretcher shop are both accessed from the site . We won't be back .

It was awful when you drove onto the site there was a pile of wood stacked, There was only 2 toilets but we got told we could only use one never any toilet roll so make sure you take your own the showers are an extra £1.00 on the cost you already pay for 5 minutes but it has to run for a minute before the water gets warm. There isn’t any disabled facilities either. We was put up at the top they said it was a nicer view don’t know where when getting out of our van there was weeds at the back of us there was a housing estate behind a wooden fence we was told no noice after 10.30 the people in the houses where noisy until gone 11.30 there was pallets on the floor at the back of our van and a opening in bushes for people to walk threw while using the pound stretcher. Most of the caravans where residents in tourer caravans, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Pictures are very different to the actual site. Had to pay extra for showers. Leaflet on arrival was incorrect for bus times and days to Bridlington. Facilities were minimal but clean and tidy. Surrounding areas next to pitches overgrown with weeds.

It’s a good accommodation for the price we paid. Pods are very comfy, you can bring your own bedding and save some money.
Or pay and don’t worry about space in the car. We always stay there each summer at least 2-3 times. It’s a nice area. Peacocks around, it can sometimes noisy, but it’s not always. Space to eat, grill, and socialise!

Number of bathrooms facilities could be balanced a bit better between the guests as if a few need showers and toilets the queues are creating. Perhaps it would help to have an extra toilet facilities on the top of existing facilities.

Nothing awful run down site .When we arrived they had no booking for us even though we had confirmation on my phone girl had to ring someone luckily they had a pitch for us .Well lucky isn’t the word we pd £30 for one nights stay on a shabby park and couldn’t use the showers as it was token only and only available from the cafe which was closed .

Uncleanliness, unfriendly, no disabled facilities, no toilet paper in both toilets (only 2 toilets and 2 showers.
Generally untidy and unclean including our pitch which held cigarette butts, tent pegs left in ground. Welcome pk or should I say unwelcome pk stated rules only. No relevant information ie where to dispose of rubbish, elson point etc. No recycling. Noisy peacocks at night.

The peacocks were beautiful.lovely experience for my grandsons.

Wish the cafe opened earlier.need a play are for kids
