Perfect few days' camping, beautifully maintained site with spacious pitches, idyllic setting with views of the church and village, plenty of useful facilities e.g. clean shower and toilet, use of a kettle and microwave if needed. Best of all was Tismo the cat who came round to see us several times a day, and all the other lovely animals who live there. Looking forward to going back later in the year.

Lovely stay at new farm. Great site. Pitches were spaced out. Everyone was very friendly. Facilities were great. My daughter enjoyed seeing the animals and visiting the park opposite. Hope to return again soon.

The whole site is excellent and the kids particularly enjoyed feeding the animals with Mark and generally playing in the open air. The fact that it is in the centre of the village of Dilwyn, 100 yards from the pub and directly opposite the village playground was an added bonus as a family with young children. Also useful was the fridge, freezer and microwave for campers to make use of. We had a lovely stay.

Where to start?

A warm welcome from our host Mark, who was so helpful right throughout our stay. Mark made our visit so inclusive and gave us a camping trip that we will not forget. We fed and helped care for the animals making it a special interactive experience for the children. They couldn’t wait to help out! We’ll always remember Tizmo the cat, Benji the bunny, the ducks, AJ,Gwenny and all the goats and sheep.
The amenities were spotless and the field was safe for the children to explore and play in. The site is small and peaceful, hidden away in a quaint little village. A perfect place to get away from the busyness of life and my husband and I were able to relax.
This trip was short and sweet to test out our new tent but we have come away very eager to return as soon as possible. The children were very sad to be leaving (so were the grown-ups). It has become our families new favourite campsite - Mark see you soon!

Absolutely nothing.

Highly recommended!! Especially for families with smaller children as it is a very safe and quiet site with 2 good sized shower rooms, large walk in showers with great hot water and separate basins.The whole site is on a gentle slope and ringed by electric hook up points and several water taps. Although we didn’t use it there are also great kitchen facilities with a microwave etc and washing up area. We also recommend the local pub The Crown which also has a good menu.
The hosts were really attentive on arrival and on hand during our stay if we needed them.

Although we were fine with the compositing toilets and have used these at several other sites our teenage son refused to use them and I could imagine that younger children would find them as bit daunting without help. Environmentally though they are a great idea and worth persevering with if you haven’t used them before.
Note that the site description does state that it is not suitable for motorhomes. We have a 6Meter Fiat Ducato based campervan which was a fairly tight fit through the entrance so I would not recommend the site if you have anything bigger.
