great site, quite, and not packed out. Would stay again

The welcome we received and being personally shown to our pitch and all explained and shown clearly.
The campsite was clean, tidy and seemed well thought out.
If in the area , we would definitely use this campsite again.

Loved the bar and the friendly staff. The location was great, and peaceful. Plenty of space as the pitches are around the edge of the field. Friendly greeting.

The outside shower was fun but only one of them had hot water.

The hand dryer in the gents toilet was very poor, not worth having. Also they use a lot of urinal blocks as there seemed not to be any water to flush the urinals. There is waterless urinal insert called Whiffaway and these would have been a better and cheaper option.

The cleaning wash basins are too low you have to bend down to wash up.

Quiet, pop up bar (but no pizza as advertised)

The rules!! They are ridiculous! But only apply to some by the looks of it. We were told by the nice gentleman warden where we could pitch, but had to be within the fire breaks, fare enough. Then some busy body woman came over saying we couldn't pitch where we were, we had to be within the fire breaks. We were DEFINITELY within the fire breaks. The following morning 2 tents pitched next to each other in their 'lines' with an event shelter between them completely ignoring the firebreak, they were pitched behind the busy body woman too! Nothing said. We promptly packed up and left. Won't be going back!! Way too over priced for the facilities. We have toured from Inverness to Lands End and this is the most expensive site we have stayed at! And the paying the balance 8 weeks before your arrival is just absurd.

Everything. The drive on bar on the weekend is such a good idea. And homemade pizza's on a Saturday night. Can't get any better. Peaceful place.

Nothing.

Beautiful site, really well laid out. Plenty of space and nice flat pitches. It didn’t feel too crowded though there were plenty of people there. Definitely a welcoming family campsite. No buildings on site - the loos were in a (nice) portakabin - but there was a mobile bar and pizzeria on site.

Good size pitches and quiet site

Facilities could be improved. We felt there are not enough toilets and showers for the size of the site and they could do with updating

We had a pleasant stay here for 3 nights. Our tent pitch was a good size and level. We especially enjoyed the outdoor showers. The staff were friendly and also had a food/bar truck serving pizza and breakfast on the weekend which was a nice touch.

There was plenty of hot water but you had to push the button a little bit too often to keep it coming (only a minor complaint).

Lovely clean and quite site.....Friendly staff, Alan and Mags were great hosts and couldn't have been more helpful.
P.S. Thanks also for the lift to UB40 concert at Warwick castle.
Great location for exploring the local area.

Quiet site, spacious pitches, well maintained. Wardens on site could not have been more helpful and understanding when our van broke down - offered to drive us to get food in or anything else we needed - thank you. Would recommend and definitely will be back.
