We tow a teardrop and was told it couldn’t go on the same pitch as our van and we should’ve ideally rented another pitch costing another £89 as it’s classed as caravan.
I understand the reasoning here due to fire regs however if your website only gives an option for “trailer”and nothing else or any statement about teardrops being not allowed then you may have a few people turning away.
Note there are statics on the front with built in BBQs less than 2 metres from the neighbouring unit….surely more of a fire risk than a non electric, non cooking teardrop unit.
Regs are regs though and the manager Gary was great in the way he explained the position.

Regarding the access roads, we want to clarify that we do not own the lanes leading to our park, so we have no control over them. 'Pitch up' does inform our visitors the best access road to use instead of following sat navs. We rely on all our visitors drive with respect and care on these access lanes.

We appreciate your comments regarding the teardrop trailer. Our Terms & Conditions specify that only one unit is allowed per pitch, and trailers are considered storage rather than accommodation. Teardrop trailers are accomodation so need to book the pitch specific to their use.
Regarding the fire safety concerns, we adhere strictly to regulations to ensure everyone's safety. The barbecue points are designated for disposable barbecues only and are not a permanent fire risk, similar to our touring pitches lighting their barbecue up on their pitch but then packing it away once food is served.
