Nice quiet site good facilities. Friendly owners and pub on site, The Alpaca Arms . Worth a visit just to see the Alpaca's and Henry the cat!

Pitches level, well maintained and close to facilities. Facilities where like new and kept clean throughout our stay. Alpaca Arms (on site pub) is fantastic a great selection of drinks and made to very welcome by hosts and locals a like.

Nothing to note

Everything! This was our favourite getaway to date! We can’t wait to rebook for early next year. The hosts genuinely went above and far beyond to make us welcome. Recommending fantastic local activities for us to visit / places to eat. Cuddling the alpacas was amazing. When I say cuddle I mean one of them wanted a full cuddle! They pick and choose who and when they want attention with no pressure for them to act in a way they don’t want too. I was even lucky enough to pop a little coat on one of the older girls so she didn’t get cold! Beautiful and spotless site. Lovely pub. There wasn’t a thing I would change.

My poor time management! You must eat before you visit the lovely onsite pub or like us your’ll leave far earlier then you want to.

Everything. The hosts were very accommodating. The pitches were spacious. The showers were fantastic and super clean. It was great being near the railway station and the pub was a real bonus. The alpacas were rather special as well.

Absolutely nothing

We were there probably on the worst weather of the year. But we had a great time. Lovely clean site, and what to do when the weather is bad? Well go the pub, and the Alpacas Arms was great, warm and welcoming, and the hosts were brilliant x
