Lovely, peaceful environment and fantastic facilities - the cook hut and BBQ was perfect for our group, and everything was spotlessly clean. It had everything you could need and provided the opportunity to purchase coals/firelighters/jam if you needed. Kids and adults alike adored it!

It would be tricky for a long term stay with only compost toilet and wash stand facilities - we only stayed for one night, so it was fine.

What an utter delight, 4 friends and 1 dog, we loved Maggie’s field from the start. Maggie was very welcoming, the fire was already laid and there were lots of thoughtful finishing touches. It was a great place to get back to simple living and nature, the birds were incredible. We had lovely sunny weather and some starry nights. Great to have a BBQ and gas stove provided. I’m sure the cook hut is useful in the rain.
We canoed down the Wye and found some lovely walks.
The village is beautiful too, the pub was closed so did not get to experience that.

Maggie’s Field was a wonderful site. Perfect for getting away from it all! The campfire and being able to cook our meals over it was the highlight of our trip. The smell of roast lamb cooking over the fire was amazing!
Maggie herself is a wonderful host, helpful and non intrusive but always on hand to stock up the log supply!
