Really nice campsite. Great set up and vibe. Facilities were fantastic and exceptionally clean. Super friendly staff.

Clean and tidy site with pristine new toilet blocks and showers. Only 15 minutes walk to into Buxton. Pizza van was a welcome treat for our Friday night. Will return.

A calm and welcoming tent pitch.
High end, secure showers and toilets block.

A large part of the campground is significantly sloping; we're glad we could pitch our tents on a horizontal place.
The city at a distance is roaring with activity (although perfectly fine most of the time).

Great site, large field plenty of facilities for the size. New shower block has been added since our first visit which is more conveniently located. Short walk into Buxton. Lovely farm shop on site and short walk to Buxton Brewery tap and plenty of walks.

There where some drainage issues in the showers but high traffic and people not mopping up after themselves is primarily the reason

Loved how easy it was, too many parks are in middle of nowhere for walkers. So was fantastic if you don’t drive

It was ideal.

Great place for taking the kids camping, very clean and regularly maintain toilets and showers, would definitely recommend staying here and very likely will go back next year.

Was noisy busy as during school holidays as suppose to be expected.

No fire allowed is good and bad as gets quite cool but stop morons being irresponsibly. Wardens come round to check

Nowhere was particularly far from the washing up area or toilets
Friendly staff - very responsive to an issue with some noisy neighbours and they were friendly but firm
Bins and toilets are checked regularly. Staff drive around the site to check noise levels which I really appreciated.

Located 5 minutes from supermarkets and a great fish and chip shop!
Beautiful views

None - the field does have a slight incline but that's the nature of camping in the hills. We angled the tent so that we didn't roll and there are some flat pitches available

Terraced non electric pitch.
Warden present into evening.

Not a dislike but we were lucky to be able to pitch on a terrace pitch. On a busy stay you may have to pitch on slope.
