This is to reduce the ecological impact we have on the area by reducing the nitrates, phosphates and general waste produced by the campsite to achieve 100% neutrality to allow us to open for the season. This meant some major changes to our facilities.
Managing the changes on our opening weekend had unexpected challenges. We have been working tirelessly to make even more improvements since then focusing on comments made, which we know our guests will enjoy and appreciate.
We have staff on site 24/7 and all guest are given an emergency number to call if there are on site issues when reception is closed. The weekend you stayed we had no calls.
The showers on site are brand new, so unsure what issue you had but again nothing was reported.
Even though we now embrace being an ecologically friendly campsite, we don't want this to impact our guests stay and damaging our fantastic reputation. Our aim is to keep improving Lepe Meadows and its facilities within the limitations allowed and to hopefully be praised on ecological level we're trying to achieve.

There is no longer the need for guest to put sawdust in our eco toilets and there is now separate sinks for hand wash and brushing teeth.
