Warm welcome & helpful staff. I felt very safe. Facilities clean and well stocked. A short walk to the beach, train, pubs, food places. A good base to explore Devon from.

A very small niggle…dogs were not allowed into the toilets so as a solo traveller I had to choose between leaving my dog vulnerable tied up outside or in an unsecured tent or locked up in my car. Fine for showering (I would lock him in the car for this anyway) but a bit awkward for random toilet visits, especially when the weather was warm. Happy with their reasoning - not everyone likes dogs and happy to follow the rules but odd that dogs were allowed into the washing up room and launderette which are also communal areas.

Leadstone camping park is very lovely and had a fabulous atmosphere. The manager there was welcoming and full of information. All of it was so clean and well kept, there were so many facilities, laundrette, ironing room, washing up room, shop, everything you need and more. They even had a dog bath/shower and the finer details of having the radio playing in the toilet/showers was a good touch! You have to comply to their rules which keeps everyone in check and zero tolerance of bad behaviour, wish more places were like it. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be coming back to stay here again.

Seems like a silly thing but they only thing fir me personally would be too open the shop a little earlier.

We and our Grandchildren love it here , it's a relaxed atmosphere, great little playpark which is well used by all the children at the site , lovely clean facilities, easy access down to the seafront and eating places , great cafe just around the corner (forest fungi) if you need it ,
The site staff are helpful and there is a great little shop at reception if you've forgotten to bring something

We also like that it is a quiet site after 10.30

Wow. Looked for a place to camp near Dawlish Warren as a first time taking my 10 and 12 year old away for a girls weekend. The moment we arrived we were met with such kindness. The pitch was a good size and clearly laid out. Close to the play park, shower block and wonderful van selling tea and homemade cake and ice cream. We were able to walk down to the beach which made the holiday easier and more relaxed. The rules on the site around quite hours kept the atmosphere peaceful and relaxed and friendly. We'll be back. Wonderful place and definitely recommend if you're looking for a chilled family camping with no loud entertainment!

The facilities here were really well kept- this was noticeable and appreciated. The pitches were of a decent size, there was a small kids play area, a little shop in reception & even a coffee/treats truck. The people running and maintaining the site were very friendly, cheerful & helpful. There was a large enough space in the middle of our field (2) for the kids to play games without disturbing anybody on their pitches. The site is perfectly located to go out to the seafront on foot- it is hilly but manageable, especially seeing as there are plenty of spaced out pubs to help! The showers are 20p for 5 minutes- but this isn’t an issue and I like that it’s mindful of wastage. I would gladly come back here.

I heard someone comment about there only being one block of amenities and having to queue for toilets, but we never experienced this and managed fine. I think there may have been an issue with the bins as they were overflowing whilst we were there for 2 nights so hoping this didn’t cause any attraction to rodents.

Very welcoming …polite friendly … showed us to our pitch, very helpful, site was very clean n well laid out … shower blocks clean n tidy n 20p showers what a bargain .. hot too
Very clean toilets n other facilities … park for the children and a little hot drinks cater van on site too,
The site was so quite by 10:30 highly recommended very good price per night too
