We love staying here!
2nd time visiting and will be booking for a third.
The staff are so friendly and helpful! The staff never seem to stop working, and even the music in the toilet areas is a great thought!
I don't mind paying 20p for a shower at all, they are hot and clean and spacious to allow an adult stay dry whilst helping with younger children. I stayed here as a single female with 2 children and I always felt self with them.
Amanda's on site (coffee shack) is so reasonably priced & my kids absolutely love the candy floss and that is a bargain!
The dawlish warren beach is a 10 minute walk away (slight uphill on way back) but there is so much to do and icecreams to help on the way back.
Shop onsite, again reasonable prices and hold all necessities.
We are already looking forward to staying in July!

Clean facilities, easy to find, good access to bus and train. Second time here.

20p shower charge (I had forgotten about it but had some change with me) it does take longer than 10 minutes to walk down to the warren but not too bad (uphill on the way back!) WiFi available but at a charge.

This was a great campsite - friendly reception, spotlessly clean facilities and very peaceful. Handy for the station if you want to get around by train rather than drive. Would highly recommend.

Very friendly staff 20 minute walk down hill to warren 10 minute walk to pub, bus stop out side park every hour, toilets and showers spotless 20P for 5 minutes shower, small shop in reception you will need chocks sloping pitches laundry and dish washing, play area for children this is one we will return to

As soon as we drove onto the site The Warden was so friendly and helpful. Lovely large pitch with sun all the day. Great sea views and lovely walks from the site. And to top it off bus stop right outside the entrance. Top marks.

If you like quiet and basic this site is for you. It’s set out perfectly with different areas that are separated by trees and foliage so very private. The pitches are large, we had electric and water which was brilliant. We had a lovely, friendly welcome on arrival with lots of info given. The facilities although basic were perfectly adequate and always spotlessly clean. 10 minute walk to the Warren with its beach and shops. Pubs within walking distance and we took our bikes so particularly enjoyed the cycle path along the Exe estuary. The reception does sell a few basics and you can order morning pastries but there are plenty of shops nearby if you need more supplies. We booked for a week but ended up going home a couple of days early purely because we had an awful lot of rain which is not good with two dogs in tow but this was no reflection on the site at all…….would definitely visit again 😊
