We’ve just returned from our third visit to The Laurels in Skegness and once again it didn’t disappoint. The site is spotless and so well maintained, with immaculate toilets and showers that are clearly looked after with care. The fully serviced pitches are a real bonus, making the holiday so easy and stress-free, and the caravan pitches themselves are a great size with plenty of space.

For anyone who enjoys fishing, this place is a gem. The fishing pegs are located right in front of the pitches, with well-stocked and beautifully looked-after carp that make for a relaxing and enjoyable pastime. The site itself is peaceful and secure, with a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful, always on hand if needed.

The location is ideal too — just a short drive to either the quiet, dog-friendly beaches or the livelier attractions of Skegness. Supermarkets are only about five minutes away, so stocking up on supplies is no hassle at all. The good WiFi and easy check-in process were the icing on the cake, making everything smooth from start to finish.

Overall, The Laurels offers a perfect mix of relaxation, convenience, and friendly hospitality. This was our third visit and it certainly won’t be our last — we’ll definitely be back!

One suggestion would be the availability of a disability stool in one of the showers would be amazing for those less mobile.

Nicely set out, friendly owner.

Very annoyed when I went to have a shower. Went in kept pressing the on button with nothing happening. Then when I stepped out saw slots where you had to pay 50p to have a shower(and how long will 50p last????????). It was 9pm and there was nowhere to get change for slots. Nowhere on website mentions this. I have been to loads of campsites and have never had to pay for showers. I actually think this is disgustingly wrong. You have already paid your site fee and showers should be included.

We had a lovely 5 night stay. We wasn't happy with our pitch at first as it had no lake view however staff were very accommodating and moved us to 99 which was a brilliant pitch. We will definitely go back next next year

Only one place to wash pots which was quite a walk for us need to be at every station.

We have just had a lovely couple of nights at the laurels! Close to Ingoldmells and skegness.
Very quiet site where the owners were happy and very helpful. Everyone seemed friendly and respectful of others.
We came with our 4 year old who loved seeing the chickens. Plenty of room on the pitches and toilet blocks were very clean. We had breakfast at the snack bar which was lovely. We hoping to come back in a couple of weeks.
