Brilliant location near to the pretty village with choice of pubs, scrummy tea-room and village shops.
I stayed in the free camping field with amazing views out to the sea and stunning sunset.
Clean and well-toilets and showers and washing up facilities and washing machine/ dryer if needed

That I only had 2 nights there!

Th site was clean, well maintained and professionally run. I received good, expert advice and guidance on all things local and on offer whenever I asked. Overall I was very pleased with my stay.

A very pleasant stay just concluded. Upon arriving at Hartland Camping Site we were greeted with a warm welcome and was quickly allocated a very pleasant pitch with outstanding panoramic views across rolling countryside. A quick briefing of the facilities available onsite and locally was much welcomed and extremely useful. A short walk away from site was Hartland village which again was very pleasant with no less than three pubs two small corner type shops and a fish and chip shop which provided us a tasty meal at very reasonable prices. Although enjoying a perhaps less well known location Hartland Peninsula provided spectacular coastline views good walks and nationally famous attractions such as Clovelly. Time to head for home only to find the car refusing to start. Hands on help from the campsite was immediate and willingly given and very supportive although it fell to the AA to provide the eventual remedy. Many thanks for a lovely break.

A gem of a site! Ive not been camping for a few years, this was my first venture back into it and to this part of Devon & definatly going to come back and book again. Loved it!!

Really liked the varied 'fields' incorporating a mix of motorhome, camping and campervan hook ups; it made everything less big yet at the same time accessible and had an air of safety, nature and friendliness.

I was here for 3 nights - I found the shower block and ammonites to be clean, perfect for the size of the site and were obviously checked up on, on a regular basis.
The lady who came to meet me when i arrived was really welcoming, cheered me up after the long drive and sorted an issue with my electric within 20 mins, and the chap on the mini tractor thing was a font of knowledge of local coastal walks, how to get there and the less busy places to go. Thank you mini tractor man!

The village shops and pubs were literally a 5 minuet walk away - yet you never felt you were in the Village at all, and (from my pitch) apart from waking up and having a cuppa looking at sea that wasn't too far away, the absolute BEST bit was being able to watch the sun set and then look up at the amazing star field above you! No light pollution at all - this made it for me!

The location was amazing! Lots to see and explore around Hartland.

We had an electric hook up pitch and were surprised by the size of the pitches! Super generous pitch sizes for tents. Plenty of space for our 4-man tent and a gazebo too.

Location was fab, super cute little village feel with a local shops and a few pubs. Around Hartland there was lots of see, we ventured out on our bikes most days to get around instead of using the car.

All in all, a fab location!

Only thing would be the WC/ Shower facilities - there is only 1 block with 2 showers/ WCs in both the ladies and gents.
Luckily we visited when it wasn’t too busy but I’d imagine in peak season there would need to be an additional facilities block.

Great location, pitch sizes really good, owners really friendly and helpful.
