Pitches were perfect, plenty of space. Fishing and paddle boarding was great

Staff seemed to be under trained, times for dining in the bar were altered and not advertised even after staff communicated the times. Worrying that the paddleboard lake didn’t have buoyancy aids around the perimeter and the one member of staff in charge had very little knowledge of the operation of the lake.

The hut was lovely, beautiful view. Paddle Boarding and Swimming on site that I wasn't aware of before arriving. Paddle Boarding was amazing, highly recommended, can stay on your knees if you're not comfortable standing.
Fishing was good, plenty of lakes and space, even a smaller lake if you're not a confident fisher or a first time fisher.
Dog friendly, was able to eat if we wished with the dog, either indoors our outdoors.
Toilets and showers kept clean, plenty of bins and water stations.
The Owl Hut came with plates, cutlery, glasses, utensils, saucepans, flying pans, measuring jug and an oven/cooker/grill/hob which I wasn't aware of before the holiday. Also a washing up bowl, sponge, dishcloth and washing up liquid.

We didn't enjoy breakfast in the café so we didn't return for any future meals.
Owl Hut could do with less clutter, though it looks nice having decor it prevents space for your own items. The window could do with having a latch to stop it from blowing open and knocking things off the side. Also a fly net or similar would have been good to get fresh air without all the bugs coming in.
Not much space for a BBQ without being close to a path or the decking. I was led to beleive there would be slabs and a space for this however I feel this is no longer the case due to decking installed since it was first built.
No field or closed in space for dogs to have an off lean run, plenty of space for it though.

Everything, nice walks, peaceful, just lovely.

Cannot get pegs into concrete (or whatever it was) so make sure you take metal hammer as rubber mallet is no good and very strong pegs as you are not allowed to pitch awning onto the grass! (Silly if you ask me)
Food wasn’t brilliant at the restaurant!

We loved the country park location which was beautiful with well maintained fishing lakes and lovely walks around the park itself. We enjoyed the social area which had an ice cream cabin as well as a great outside area to enjoy a drink and a snack. The staff were friendly and helpful. We also liked the fresh fish van which was on-site one day as well as a fruit and veg stall that sold fresh bread.

The lack of dog waste bins.

The park is fantastic the walks are great the fishing is great the paddle boarding and swimming is great. The pod we stayed in was fantastic.

The food in the restaurant/bar is absolutely awful 😖

Wild swimming, paddleboarding, bar, food, cleanliness, comfort of the pods, friendliness of the staff, local.walks, local pubs, geese, wildlife.

Some of the shower heads could be better.

Playing field good size for the kids with the football, nice walks around various ponds, bar was great for a drink and food,all staff were friendly.

Hardstanding pitch broke my hammer trying to get the pegs in and no shop on site selling these kind of bits, toilets and showers very basic the shower head was that fine of a spray hardly washed you, play area was a little small for my 9 year old and seemed dated.
