Good value, nice site clean toilets hot water nice sized pitches

Booked 2 nights. Good welcome on arrival, answered extra questions I had well. Noticeably quiet and well kept site. Shower block was so warm, so lovely to not experience Antarctica on exiting a site shower ! The service bus will stop for you at lane end for Lincoln town centre (20min ride). Would think about another trip!

Ate in clubhouse and was disappointed that the Ham egg and chips was slices of deli ham not a slice of nice boiled ham..Shame

Nice and tidy and very peaceful also had bar and restaurant

Nothing on our stay

Had a lovely 2 night stay here for Lincoln Showground Fireworks (also highly recommend). Fully Hard Standing Touring Pitch, lovely and quiet (all bar the odd train) but don’t let this put you off as it didn’t really effect the site or sleeping. Polite staff, toilet facilities were clean, showers were clean and nice. Didn’t eat in the cafe onsite but when we came to leave we asked if they did take away at 11:20am (as leaving time is 11:30am) and they said yes but can’t put through the tills 12 so they lost out there 🤔.

All in all, we will be returning next year for several events.

Food Recommendations- The Swan Holme (dog friendly) 100% Good Food. (Hanworth this needs to be added to your places to eat)!

WiFi- Free for an hour then you have to pay. Needed to say this on the ad when booking. Paying is fine but when it says free WiFi this is for lodges only.

Pitches well laid out. Nice and private female shower and toilet cubicles. Dog walking from site. Bar and restaurant on site and very pleasant serving/bar staff.

Poor cleaning standards and frequency especially in male facilities.
Reception inflexible when turned up early (due to unforeseen circumstances) in letting us on pitches even though they were empty and the park not in the least bit busy.

The staff were excellent- friendly, helpful and upbeat. It is in a lovely setting.

Lack of signage on the site. No site map so I had to ask where the ladies showers were, as they were in a wooden block by trees with no signage visible.
We tried to eat in the restaurant. The food was excellent but as you asked for dishes on the menu they were off. There were at least 6 missing ingredients .

Pitch sizes nice and spacious, fully serviced, clean. Toilets clean and warm. Site tranquil. Good play area. Good fishing

People driving through touring pitches who were not pitched on site, not very secure, anyone could get to touring area easily no security.
Signage needs to be clearer regarding speed limit and one way system as many cars driving at speed through caravan area where children plating and often in wrong direction.

Pitches were big and well laid out. Bar and outside seating area looked nice although we didn't use it as we used the village pubs.

On first appearance the site looked really nice however it's not particularly well run. On arrival we were allocated a pitch and as there were lots of free pitches we asked if we could be moved to a different one. However we were told that the pitch we wanted was booked for the next two nights. I asked (several times) whether THAT particular pitch number had been requested, to be told a definite "yes". I got the feeling that they just couldn't be bothered and surprise, surprise! - nobody turned up on that pitch for both nights we stayed. A little flexibility wouldn't go amiss but the staff seemed more pre-occupied with the Halloween Event that was happening that day!

We also noticed that people let their dogs roam free around their caravans and the men's toilets were in a terrible state in the morning. Also wi-fi signal was very poor.

There's not much to do in the area. We were lucky that the weather was nice and we walked to two villages (Potterhanworth and Branston) but there wasn't much at either. No shops apart from a Co-op and a pub in each village. We won't be returning to this site and felt a bit robbed at £35 per night.

Nice area, level pitch. Good walks.

Filthy blocked toilets for 24hours,had to complain to reception as no male toilets had paper, 2 out of three were blocked and third had diarrhoea all over it. They are not checked or cleaned nearly enough or at all during our 2 days stay.
