The park was lovely and clean and tidy and the staff were excellent especially in the restaurant even though they were under pressure. The staff were very informative about walks and cycle tracks.

The toilets and showers were not very clean and could do with getting rid of the shower curtains although they were extremely warm. Water was red hot one minute and freezing the next. Did not bother us as used our own after that.

Beautifully presented on every level - the site, cage reception, grounds, playground and facilities.

Facilities were absolutely spot on.

Cafe lovely with great menu.

The reception staff were lovely and so helpful

Nothing to comment on here! The bar shuts early but this isn't a criticism as such

Lovely site , very tidy and clean . Out pitch was next to the railway line but the noise was minimal .

Love this site. It was quite busy compared to when we stayed previously, but it was Easter Weekend.
Great that they now do water activities even though I didn’t try them. It’s far too cold for me still!
It was nice to see all the efforts to bring people to the site with bouncy castles and Easter egg hunts.
Staff were lovely.

The men’s shower block needs some attention - there is nowhere to hang anything to keep things from getting wet. Very cramped area and ended up having to stand in a puddle of water to change as the curtains didn’t stop the water

Fabulous clean tidy site, staff very friendly. Very quiet overnight as no trains during the night

Trains, although we were aware as clearly included in the online site description so not unexpected - would be absolutely perfect without the trains,

What’s not to like this campsite is SUPERB! The staff are excellent..friendly and accommodating. The site is spotless and the fishing lakes are an added bonus. The wildlife around the site is fabulous and love to hear the geese….chatting away! We really enjoyed our first stay here and have booked again for July.

The only downside maybe for some but not for us was the WiFi. You have to pay for this and the service was intermittent but it’s not a priority for us but guess it would be for those addicted to their screens.

Clean large pitches, fabulously warm toilets and bathrooms. Peace and quiet with a convenient cafe/restaurant on site. We love it here!
