Lovely location not too far from villages with places to eat and shops. Comfort pod was well equipped, the large fridge was a bonus as was a tv. Good sized bed and a rustic table and chairs. There was a table and chairs on the decking area outside. Very relaxing looking out over fields. The showers and dishes washing sink was a very short walk behind the pod. We were amazed how quiet the site was at night, there were children and dogs there. The cafe/bar was really nice although we didn’t eat there, the food looked good. We cycled to there and found it had everything we needed for a two night stay.

Smokers standing right out side the bar doors so smoke blew in. I know that nit picking but that’s I could think of!

Staff availability- tried to call on the morning of arrival but no answer (tried 3 times), and no one on reception at check out

Loved the basic camping pod. Everything I needed for a short stay away. The whole site was clean, tidy and well organised. Nice clean toilet and shower block with individual facilities and plenty of warm water. Good dishwashing facilities too.
Beautiful views of the lakes from the pod. Will come again.

If it’s raining you would get wet whilst washing up. Only overhead cover.
Staff didn’t know bus information and gave out incorrect information.
Only found glass recycling!

Pitch was nice and the site was landscaped we had view of the lake cafe was good and staff friendly

The showers and toilets were not kept clean and tidy. On the Sunday night the gents facilities were not clean. Such a shame as this let the site down

The site is lovely, very well kept and set in wonderful scenery, enjoyed the dog friendly pub and overall had a good time here.

Quietness, cleanliness, not too big, proximity to area we can go for food. Nice people that work there. All amenities available
