Massive spacious pitches. Not overcrowded. Very well maintained and clean throughout. Lovely site with a children's play area and lots of grass for anyone with 4 legged friends. Bar was not overpriced, and the food was fantastic. Great fishing ponds and an area for swimming and paddleboarding. Great access for caravan.

Perhaps just circumstancial ... showers were HOT! Which I would never normally mind but in 30 degree heat I felt like a boil in the bag meal haha!
Mens shower room closest to the bar has no mirror for shaving.

Park and Bouncy castle.

Shower and toilet blocks dated and not the cleanest, not very well ventilated either and turn into a sauna after your shower.
Park needs more for younger children, including a baby swing.

Loved the size of pitches. Toilet and shower facilities really clean showers were hot. The park was immaculately kept the bar and cafe had a good selection of drinks and food was lovely and well presented

The only thing was security, I know it was a country park but the caravan site was vulnerable. Anybody could go on it.

We loved this site, so peaceful and everyone was really respectful with noise. When you have young children you're grateful for the quieter evenings.
The paddle board lake is great too and we did a couple of hours on here.
The first pitch we was given was more gravel than grass and were in a VW camper with awning but after asking we were put on another pitch which was perfect.

Really minor but the shower rooms could do with a shelf to put your dry clothes on. Also the pitches are very much geared up for motorhomes and caravans and there's no tents allowed which is a shame as our friends wanted to come but couldn't as they only have a tent. With a VW camper and awning having a grass space for the awning is needed. The lake for SUPing and swimming could be open for longer.
