Really nice site, fab for the kids. They loved the parks. Nice clean toilet and shower blocks. Showers were hot and powerful. The shop has a good selection of things. Staff are lovely. We had a good time despite the rainy weather.

The only thing is, after putting our tent size in when booking, we then got charged extra for the size on arrival when checking in. It wasn’t clearly stated when booking so it was a surprise when we got there.

Playgrounds and nice location.

Our electric hook up kept tripping out frequently. The pitch was on a slant. Ground was hard to peg into and also waterlogged muddy areas. The indoor area was pretty much empty. The showers were in the toilets and were open and cold.
We found the staff extremely arrogant and sarcastic. This is also including the manager. We were made to feel patronised when asking for help. We were unaware that we were unable to have an extra visitor stay for the night who had driven all the way with us, and they had no option but to travel all the way home to bring their own tent and pay another pitch fee and then drive all the way back (3hr journey). They wouldn’t allow them to stay in our awning. It did not state this on their terms and conditions.
I will not be returning or recommending.

It was very wet and the pitches did get waterlogged

Kids loved it. It rained the whole time and they still enjoyed it. So much to do, and such beautiful views.

This site is fantastic. We received a lovely warm welcome and check-in was easy and informative. We had a massive and gorgeous pitch on the top tier, it was spacious and quiet - being out of school holidays helps!
Showers were hot, clean and fairly quiet and the toilets also clean and tidy.
The shop stocks everything you need and more.
The grounds are well looked after, great play facilities and space to play with footballs, frisbees etc.
Quiet time from 10pm is a great idea.
It is definitely one of our favourite sites we've stayed at and the scenery driving to the site was beautiful.
Lots of places to visit nearby (although we didn't leave the site).
The staff are amazing, I'm really surprised by a couple of the reviews I read prior to staying saying they were rude. They honestly couldn't have been more helpful and friendly - Julie is just lovely and made us feel welcome our entire stay.
Absolutely recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed.

People not keeping their untrained dogs on a lead and then wondering why they've lost them! Not the dogs fault or the site, there are signs everywhere saying keep your dogs on a lead.

Could not fault this wonderful site. Excellent showering and toilet facilities. Great laundry and wash up areas. Great interactions and customer service from park staff. Our electric pitch over looked the kids playground which was very handy. Very clean and tidy site. Everyone takes pride in the site which is a great sign. Lovely experience and would highly recommend.

Wi-Fi not very good

This campsite is a hidden gem! Facilities are perfect and well kept and all the staff are super friendly and helpful! Can’t wait to return!
