The site is quiet - visitor wise. I would say that this is very much a 'one night on the way to somewhere else' campsite, as there is nothing to do on site. There is a farm shop on round the corner among the industrial units, but they don't do take away snacks, and there is a lovely pub that we were able to walk to, but facilities wise, it's just a toilet block.

So, even though the site was quiet - the position of it is near to a busy A road, so we went to bed listening to traffic and woke up listening to traffic! Also - I'm sure there are lots of campsites that run like this - but I just didn't feel like it was secure. There were campers turning up in the middle of the night, and I don't know who sorted that out! That camper then proceeded to play music with a heavy bass until about 1.30am and there was no one to talk to about this. Finally, and very unfortunately - one motorhome let their dogs out to run free, even though it specifically states to have dogs on a lead. They might have got away with it if they hadn't proceeded to attack a nearby child. Again, there was no one on hand to deal with this - which was a bit worrying.

It was a great experience to stay in this caravan site. The environment was so peaceful and stunning. We said hello to the horses, cows and sheep in the morning. The facilities were super clean and tidy. Plenty hot water for shower. It wasn’t busy at all, so there was no queuing at all. Good location only 14mins driving to Oxford city centre. Last but not least, the owner Neil was very friendly!

Small campsite, good showers and facilities, on site cafe, 5 minutes walk to lovely pub, farmer welcoming and friendly, sorted problem with electric quickly, close to main road system for transport links, Oxford Silverstone etc

Large grass field so plenty of space, choose your own pitch.
Small toilet and shower block with outside washing up facilities.
We had a level pitch but as its a field you may not be so lucky
Had a lovely meal in the pub in the village, also a little cafe on site run independently.

Struggled to get mobile signal, we only stayed overnight but could be a problem for some.
