Fantastic smal site lady was amazing very helpful and friendly quit gave us a choice of pitch it took us longer to take tent down as was our first time camping and was very good about the time we took very well kept toiletand showers was great also kitchen and things inside was fantastic we didn't need to take stuff we took with us . Over all great stay .

Wonderfully quiet park with a small number of pitches(?10) all with EHU and water. Plots a good size. Amanda met us within minutes of driving in and let us choose our own spot as there was only one other van on site.

The showers were excellent with tons of hot water. I went for an early morning run and realised again that Wales is hilly but being surrounded by beautiful countryside is so wonderful.
We were in a new van so didn't cook but got a local taxi (home james) who were great. Dinner at the bunch of grapes in Newcastle Emlyn was a real highlight for us.

Would definitely recommend. Our only slight dislike was a lack of hedging between pitches, but this is minor given the overall size of pitch.

I believe this was the new owners first week and they were absolutely lovely. The site was looking good for this time of year. The washing up facilities were absolutely amazing, really useful and included fridges and freezers as well.

The site was located in the middle of nowhere which was nice. It certainly could be a nice quiet site.

The pitch next to us had an awful lot of people staying on it, loads of kids kicking balls and throwing stones. Would be nice if there was an area they could play away from other people's vehicles.

Could do with another toilet as there was only one for men and one for women and the loo was in with the shower. This meant that when someone was having a shower you could have a long wait to use the facilities

Amanda and her husband couldn’t have been more welcoming. This was their first week of opening have just taken over as the new owners of Fron Rafel and it was lovely to meet them. The site is great, even better than the pictures portray, very small, quiet and friendly - 5 decent sized hard standing pitches with grass available beside for a tent or awning, perfect for our campervan. Plus 2 larger/double sized pitches. The bathrooms were brilliant, clean and a good size with great hot showers. We didn’t use the kitchen or utility area but they looked to be a great provision. We would definitely use Fron Rafel again in the future. Just stayed for one night this time as a stop over to break up a long journey but hope to be back to see what happens under the new ownership. The yurt, shepherds hut and static caravan will be fabulous offerings once they are up and running 😀

Beautiful setting and as much peace ans quiet you can get. Caught up with Steve the owner and found him to be one of the nicest people, cound not do enough to help. We will surley be back and will certainly recommend to others. Well done Steve you have don a great job with the site. +++++
