Service on arrival was great, greeted by a lovely lady who explained everything we needed to know about the site and surrounding areas.
Was lovely to sit out in the sun with a beer from the bar.
Defiantly be back again couldn’t recommend enough.

It is conveniently located off the busy A5 road ...some light sleepers may be bothered by this, it was no trouble at all to us..we knew it was there before we booked.

Nice and clean facilities, good pitch size, the on-site bar, pub/restaurant in walking distance, access to canal path close by

Everything about the site was spot on! Pitch was a good size and spread out from the next, facilities were spotlessly clean. Went to the bar which was dog friendly and a good vibe, all in all nothing bad to say and the owners could not of been any better, friendly, normal and welcoming thank you so much for a great stay!!!!

Road noise, you accept this if you want to be close to where you want to go.

The site is spotlessly clean as are the toilets and showers. The bar opens at weekends for drinks only, the staff are so lovely and friendly and it’s a great location close to supermarkets and lots of walks, activities and castles among a lot of other stuff to do. Loved that they are fully serviced pitches and defo helped not having to keep filling up water and emptying grey waste. It is along a main road and my pitch was along that side of the site so you do hear the traffic at night but its not so bad that I couldn’t sleep it just took me a little longer however didn’t keep me awake when I was off. A nice little loop of a site for the kids to play on their bikes and felt really safe.

The only thing I’d probably add is perhaps some small bar snacks on offer (even though there’s a pub opposite it would have been more convenient for us to have it on site) even if it was cobs or a cheese board /charcuterie platter etc for a snack of an evening while in there. I believe it’s a new site so all these things will come in time I’m sure but I couldn’t fault the site at all. Would defo go back. There was no noise at all from other users either so was peaceful.

They offer a loyalty card and you get a free night for every ten you get stamps for which is a good incentive.

Everything about this site. The couple who run it were so welcoming. It was clean and tidy. The showers were always warm and clean.
Has a lovely bar on site with a wide choice and lovely atmosphere. Pitches were great and level!
