The site was spotless, and the Dartmoor Halfway inn served lovely food, we had several evening meals & breakfast! With lovely table service.

We didn’t expect the road behind us to be so noisy, very loud road so couldn’t really relax as we would of liked. Plus the pitch was a bit cramped as we use a awning so not much room around us. Also there was a strong smell from the drains not nice! All in all we loved the pub menu, but wouldn’t return because of the loud noisy road behind us. Plus the pitch wasn’t that level. Also the trees & bushes behind our caravan & awning were overgrown made it very difficult to attend to it!

Short drive to Dartmoor National Park.

Stinky toilets, smell of sewage constantly wafting over us, stank in the bar area of the the Inn too. My mad for not exploring how busy the main road is, very noisy, lots of HGV lorries accessing Newton Abbot from the A38. Meals in the Inn are nice but very expensive. Both days we ordered as take out (limited options), both orders missing items. Pitch was too small, very tight to bring the car in and off the site road, passengers have to get out before parking. Shame really, as more appropriately sized pitches remained empty during our stay. Take loo roll, often none available, same for hand paper towels. Didn't see anyway of going on a little walk from the site, handy for the dog, need to drive somewhere. Pitch not very level. Waste drain higher than outlet of caravan, that was a pain in the botty to deal with.

Lovely well kept small site. Nice quiet and clean good size pitches.

Could do with more toilets only one toilet for males on site.

Private pitches seperated by hedges, clean and very tidy site with friendly, helpful staff. Great value for money with a lovely pub and restaurant and dog friendly.

Our only issue was road noise, it is on a busy main road but quietened down after rush hour.

Good location, good pub.

Nothing to dislike.
