Someone else on here called this the Best Campsite in Wales, so we thought lets see about that…and they were right. Beautiful location with breathtaking views of the Clwydians, immaculate pitches and surrounding grounds, the cleanest facilities including a fully stocked kitchen and games/chill out room. I did not need to take my kettle! More than reasonable rates for what you get. All that pales into significance when compared with the friendliness and warmth demonstrated by the hosts, Raymond and Rose. You will be hard pressed to find nicer owners, they really do care about their guests. We brought a bit of bad weather with is, and Raymond allowed us to leave later to avoid packing down in the worst weather and even helped som and I take the tent down. I always say we will be back, and this time we definitely will. Thank you Raymond and Rose

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It's a small but wonderful place, quiet and with beautiful surroundings. Kitchen and shower/toilet facilities are great and very clean. Ray and Rose are very welcoming and helpful and we enjoyed our chats with Ray. We only stayed one night in our roof top tent but will come back for sure.

Lovely quiet site with lovely owners. The pods are clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and you don't need to take anything.

The pods were comfy and cozy. Raymond was very helpful. The kitchen and facilities were excellent. Had a fab stay. Will definitely be back.

This was a lovely, peaceful campsite. The owners were so friendly, great communication and were always happy to help. The shower block was clean, we hired the fire pit for the evening which was a great addition and there was a lovely pub a short walk away - would definitely stay again :-)

The thunderstorm!

Very nice site. Small and quiet.
Good facilities with more than normal indoor space for cooking and relaxation when camping.

A small and quiet site which felt like it was in the middle of nowhere but was only 15 mins from Ruthin with a small Tesco and Aldi. The pitches are a decent size but on a slight slope so you need to orientate your tent accordingly, which wasn't a problem. Kitchen was very handy. All facilities clean and modern.

I was most impressed by the very warm welcome from Rose and Raymond. As a solo traveller it is nice to have a chat and we certainly did.
