What a lovely site. Nice welcome from the staff. Was able to pick the pitch we wanted which I thought was nice. Great facilities. Good free showers. 3 ladies toilets and 2 showers, mens the same am told and also 1 unisex shower available separately. Good washing up area. Lovely hot water.The site is situated on the edge of Cheddar. 10-15 mins walk to shops. Theres a Tesco Express and a Sainsbury's there so no need to bring too much with you! Theres a good car boot 5 mins drive away on sundays. (towards Wells). Wells is a really lovely town we spent a few afternoons wandering around. Car parking in Wells nr Bishops Palace £4 all day. Glastonbury town is a nice place to wander and have a coffee.A beautiful part of the country and a brilliant site! We will definitely be back We highly recommend this site 10/10!!!(didnt use their Wi fi so can not comment)

Not a dislike but made a suggestion to a staff member. Hooks needed in the bathroom area to hang clothing, towels etc when using hand wash basins. The lady did say this has already been fed back to management.

The walk to get to town should take 5 mins but there is no pavement just outside the camp which means the safest route is a walk by the river
But it is a lot longer

The campsite was quiet, secluded, and only a short walk into cheddar gorge. So many great places for food and a pint close by. Highly recommend La Rocca in town. Lovely place to stay! The campsite itself was clean with beautiful grounds next to a small river.
We stayed in the glamping pods. The pods were very cosy and came with beds, kettle, and a lovely picnic bench outside. We brought a fan which kept us nice and cool. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fabulous campsite to stay at in the perfect location at Cheddar. Lovely scenery, extremely clean and pleasant amenities, very friendly and helpful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, it is Adults only, so I would highly recommend it to anyone that hasn't got children.

Great location and facilities, friendly staff, 10 minute walk down the old railway to the village would definately stay there again.
