Loved this place!
Super chilled and quiet. We were just outside holiday season and had the place almost to ourselves.
The river is glorious for swimming and exploring.
Plenty of towns and villages to explore nearby and lots of outdoor activities around too.
It was very, very hot while we were there but there is always shade to be found and the river is right there to cool off in.
The ablutions are basic but clean.

Absolutely everything. Fantastic location, small quiet site. Superb clean facilities - the best toilets on a campsite. Friendly staff. Lots of interesting activities. The best ice cream. Lots to do nearby. The river really made the site - absolutley gorgeous for swimming. Highly recommended.
