Beautiful location surrounded by mountains and nature. The site is very peaceful and well maintained. Our shepherd’s hut was clean, cosy and comfortable for the stay. The surroundings are perfect for relaxing and exploring Snowdonia, with many scenic places nearby like Llanberis and Caernarfon. Staff were friendly and check-in was straightforward. Overall a lovely place for a quiet getaway.

The shepherd’s hut had two single beds instead of a double bed because of some maintenance work on the site, which was quite uncomfortable for us. It would also be helpful if pillows and bedding were provided, as this would make the stay much more comfortable for guests.

Warm clean shower and toilet block, on site cocktail van which was lovely. Knowledgeable staff when asking for siteseeing spots and walks.

Not enough light at nighttime. No plug sockets in the shower block and mirror too high for drying hair if you’re short!!

Beautifully maintained site and the toilets and showers were clean. Staff were friendly. Site was almost level and only required a small lift to get perfect level.

Prior to arrival had a ln email asking me to review my stay for the night previous somewhat unnerving.

Upon arrival I booked and paid for a double bed shepherds hut and when arrived was directed to Llewelyn hut with twin beds for which I didn’t have bedding.

Once sorted after I showed my booking details I was given keys to correct shepherds hut so we moved again. I was advised had a private toilet block with its own key. This was in fact the wrong key i was given key for the other huts toilets labelled as mine it took a while to check all the doors there were 6.

Heater in room plug in fan was really noisy would be better with oil radiator plug in. The heater was louder than the TV.

Otherwise a lovely clean hut couldn’t fault the accommodation or beautiful views.

The mix ups made what was a great night away actually stressful 😩

We both enjoyed our stay. The staff were great.

On reflection the bed could be made to be more comfortable.

Would definitely stay again!

Nice site with lovely views, clean and warm toilets and shower facilities, well laid out with good sized pitches. We had a full service hard standing for our campervan and the Llewelyn shepherds hut, which was lovely and clean, spacious and warm. Great that fire pits are allowed and lovely to see people sitting around their fires on a freezing cold night.

Nothing to dislike about the site if you’ve got everything you need. We ran out of gas cooking tea and if there’d have been a pub nearby we may have gone out to eat but we couldn’t be bothered driving anywhere.
