We loved everything about this campsite, it is one of the best we have stayed at.

- Brand new toilets that are stocked and cleaned regularly with lovely hot showers.

- Cream Teas 3x per week were absolutely delicious, please plan your stay around the opening days so you can try one.

- Quiet pitches with lots of space each and little hedges to give you privacy and protection from the wind.

- Loads of room for kids to play in the middle so they are always within eye sight.

Speed bumps. I understand why they are there but after going on and off the site a few times, they felt a little tedious.

Make sure you take it slowly and if towing... extra slow, we scraped our tow bar a few times.

We really loved this site. Lovely open space for the kids to play and goal posts included which was a win for our boys. Multiple public footpaths from the site which were scenic and perfect for the dog plus really nice facilities. We will be returning.

We stayed at this campsite at the end of July and had two pitches with electric hook-up – one for our tent and one for my parents’ motorhome. The site has a newly built toilet and shower block, which was spotless throughout our stay. A small but thoughtful touch I really appreciated was that each shower had its own squeegee, so you could clear water and sand from the floor before and after use.

The location is excellent – just a short drive to Boscastle, which was the main place we wanted to explore, and also within easy reach of Polzeath Beach. We had a fantastic day paddleboarding there with our children, and my parents were able to bring their dog along as the beach is dog friendly.

We sadly missed out on the on-site cream teas (we were out during opening hours), but that just gives us another reason to return.

The pitches were neatly separated by well-trimmed hedges, giving a nice sense of privacy, and there was a large open field where the children could play safely. It was easy to keep an eye on them and also see any vehicles coming onto the site. Quiet hours were respected – most people were settled by 9–10pm, so it was perfect for getting the kids to sleep without disturbance.

Overall, we’d happily recommend this campsite to others and are already looking forward to staying here again in the future.

My 5th time here. Stayed for two weeks this time! Pitches are a great size, new toilet and shower block great. Best of all Ian and his wife are lovely and the entire campsite has a lovely feel with great views!

The site is absolutely lovely as an up and coming place to be, the new shower blocks are stupendous and allow one to get squeaky clean, the views from the camping pitches are also beautiful and majestic. Would definitely recommend. The staff members were also incredibly friendly which obviously enhanced the experience. Only missing a pub!
