New toilets and showers are definitely an upgrade this place needed in a while. Nice and quiet, enjoyed whole stay with friends

Security on the entrance wasn't really helpful. Part of our group was arriving late evening. I was promised by the person who let us in that if they will tell my name (which was on the booking) they'll be given second car pass and let through. Unfortunately whoever was on the evening shift wasn't informed about it and it toon a lot of convincing and arguing to let my friends in. They didn't receive the car pass though. Next day I needed to speak with 4 different people to finally get my pass.

Spacious site , just fantastic such a change from being cooped up next to your neighbour. Peaceful, fabulous lakes and wildlife and it was sunny

That there was only one very small park open for the children. The others are all under reconstruction. Also the crazy golf hasn’t been built as of yet. None of this was explained clearly on the website and it was disappointing for our little girl (6)

Convenient location for Sywell air show.
Obviously spending a lot of money on improvements which will look lovely when finished.
The non electric camping field looked lovely and spacious. Some campers on the electric hookup area parked a bit too close for safety although I gather they were groups of friends.
Level pitches. Friendly staff.

There were 2 different groups partying near our pitch - quite noisy but the kids from one group were playing football on the empty pitch next to ours, a little too close to our campervan hitting the van & windbreak with the case ball a few times - very annoying when we were trying to have a relax. This morning before we left they were throwing sticks at swans in the water & left rubbish from the bread they were feeding to the geese.

Security only deal with noise issues if you phone them. We had loud music from neighbours until 3am one evening and as we didn’t phone to complain nothing was done. I wrongly assumed security would eventually step in and didn’t have their phone number.

Not allergy friendly. The allergen notice simply says we handle most/all allergens in the kitchen so we recommend that people with allergies don’t eat at the venue.
Would be great to see a bit more effort and Inclusion!

The place was a good base to explore the area and good value for money and the pub / restaurants was all ok . Would go back

The park had new buildings that where very nice but old buildings from few years ago just left to decay. And camping side is ok but not got the train and all the rides it used to have Years ago. Which we used to love with the kids .

Dużo miejsca, Wjazd przez całą dobę. Ładne miejsce rekreacyjne.

Brak stanowisk camper service. Nie ma gdzie zrzucić szarej wody, czystą wodę nalewa się kombinując przy rozsianych po campingu kranikach. Dużo kaczych odchodów na trawie. Woda w prysznicu wylatuje pod wysokim ciśnieniem na ubrania, brak możliwości regulacji temperatury.

The road out when leaving!

New shower block had leaking shower heads, blocked drains and the old shower block was worse in that it needed an industrial clean!
The pitches had been cut by use of a “gang cutter” where al l cut grass was left long and had to be walked through. The water/drain points were too far away from the pitches and our pitch was 10 minutes walk from the shower and waste emptying block.No hooks or shelves were provided for essentials or clothes in either shower blocks where the leaking shower heads sprayed onto our clothes.
