We had a horrid first night as ended up right next to a very large group of Irish travellers who caused havoc with very loud music, loud shouting, drunken swearing and making a very large fire next to our car til 3am. Needless to say we didn t sleep a wink. The site security came round at around 1130pm but didn t really do anything to stop the mayhem...he seemed scared of them too. We tried to tell them to stop but they completely ignored us. Unfortunately we didn t have the security number to hand that night and thought reception would be closed. We did tell security the following morning though. On our second day we woke up to find police presence sorting out another incident. This has put us off returning in future.
There was also no WiFi.
Thanks for your constructive comments. We have spent a lot of money upgrading the toilet blocks and have a great team now who takes care of them and pleased to hear you found this to be the case. Sorry to hear that you found the pool slide closed - we had an issue over the weekend where it wasn't draining as it should. As soon as we could get an engineer to it, it was fixed but apologies we couldn't get this done at the weekend.
Am sorry to hear that you found yourself near a large group and that their behaviour disrupted your stay with us. I have passed your comments onto park management and would like to assure you that we do not tolerate any disrespectful behaviour. We have superfast wifi in the Venue and in all of our caravans and lodges - we are still working on getting wifi on the touring field. I really hope that we do get to welcome you back in the very near future.

The pump track/skate park was a big hit with our 10 year old.
Pool and splash pad were good.
We liked that we could choose our own pitch and that there was so much space.
Toilet and shower blocks nearby which were generally quite clean and very well kept.
Non mi è piaciuto: As it’s such a big site, it was very busy and could get very noisy. Lots of large groups so if you want peace and quiet this isn’t the site for you!
Quite a lot of litter around the site although I did see two litter pickers one day trying to keep on top of it! Often the wardens were too busy talking to each other (with some choice language given that it’s a family site!).
It would also have been nice to have a wild swimming pond that you didn’t need to pay extortionate prices for. I understand for the inflatables and equipment but the fact that the outside company has a monopoly on swimming in the lakes too is a bit sad.
Also, be ware of people driving far too fast around the site. There are speed limit signs but they are generally ignored.

The outdoor swimming cost is calculated based on the insurance required, changing room facilities added and lifeguards required to man the lake safely - am sorry that you felt this was expensive.
I also note your concern around the speed limit signs and generally being ignored. We have just invested £60k on renewing/replacing our park signage and there was a huge emphasis on health and safety signage - will ensure your comments are also passed to park management regarding this.
I do hope that we get to welcome you back to our lovely park very soon!
