Their policy of guests only was not adhered to when they let a group of non guests (travellers) on park drinking without the passes they insisted were required while their child began attacking other children very violently in the play park and in one incident racist abuse at another child. The parents of these children were vile and laughed in our faces- security seemed scared (clearly doing their best but unsupported)
They didn’t have a duty manager onsite on a packed out summer bank holiday weekend!! Unbelievable.
We were extremely concerned for our families safety and had to pack and leave and boycott the next 2 nights we had paid for.
On our return when management were ‘back in the office’ they told us the family in question were told to leave but they hadn’t mentioned they’d do this at the time so we had no choice but the leave late at night for the safety of our families.
Management refuses any sort of compensation for the 2 nights we missed which is shocking for such a large park. No gesture of goodwill.
I will never reccomended this park and will update my travel rep friends too.
I would not like anyone else to fall victim and we were relieved to get off this site!!
I have never gone out my way to leave a bad review or similar but I feel so strongly about this and the way they have chosen to respond.
Thank you for your feedback. We have had email communication with you regarding this matter and have explained our position. As previously mentioned, we do not operate a curtailment policy, meaning the decision to leave was entirely your own.
Regarding the incident, while we understand the situation may have been distressing, the comments about a child attacking others and being abusive are exaggerated. Please be reassured that we have plenty of staff and managers on site, including a manager available on our 24/7 phone line, as well as three evening customer service/security personnel who managed the situation appropriately and effectively.
It's important to note that, as reflected in our reviews, 90% of guests would recommend us and 90% would visit us again, with an overall score of 9.1. I am sorry that your experience didn't meet this on this occasion, however we do appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best in your future travels.

Toilets didn’t flush too well but apart from that we enjoyed using the shower block. The entertainment was the best I have ever seen at a holiday park.. very talented and funny individuals. Plenty of food places and nisa on site. Abit windy as at the top of the cliffs but worth it for the sea view. Beautiful views day and night, would definitely return and we’ve had a good 6 hr drive from York.

Non mi è piaciuto: The food in the restaurant wasnt great, cleaner banging on the toilet door while my 11year old was in there, then huffing and puffing outside the door, showers go off every 30 seconds which isn't great when trying to wash hair, drying area in showers very small ended up dressing in the wet area, toilets very small (I'm slightly bigger than average and had to squeeze into the toilets with the door bashing me me everytime. Not a great choice of proper food in the shop and no soya milk.
