Location - the campsite is very well located with amazing, unobstructed views of the area. Furthermore, it’s only a 15 minute drive from Buxton.
Staff helpfulness - I’ve had one of my cars break down, which meant I had to get recovered and repair into another vehicle, ultimately causing me to arrive after last check in time. The staff were very understanding and helpful regarding the late arrival and checking in process.
Toilet and wash facilities - all facilities were clean and well maintained, showers were hot, good access to drinking water. Only thing is - there’s a limited amount of washing up sinks, so you may have to queue a bit when it’s busy.

Loved this campsite. The location was perfect with a lovely view, nice walks and a pub nearby. The facilities were good and the cowshed stocked lovely coffee and cake. The evening entertainment was also fab! Will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect location, top field had at least 200 campers.
Showers washing up and toilets all on site. Farm shop had live music plus bar.

Wished we had stayed longer

The campsite has everything you need and beautiful views.

They now charge £1 for a 4-minute shower and even charged me the conversion fee of £1 when I paid on the card to get some pound coins. Stop being so tight and just up the price of the campsite. Its Frankey a little pathetic.

There also is only 4 showers so this could def be upgraded.

£1 for a cube of a fire lighter and 5 bits of timber to start the fire. I had to go back and pay for another one. Again stop being so tight its comical.

On a hill (TBF it is the peaks)

Great atmosphere with live music for bank holiday. Lovely farm shop and already recommended to my parents who plan to book very soon.

Had a fantastic night here. The site was clean and plenty of space. Friendly staff and the added of bonus of live music on the night we stayed. Just wished we had stayed 2 nights now. Will definitely be back

Lovely spacious camping pitches and great facilities. Close to so many great walks, would definitely return!
