Stayed on a Saturday night - Loud music from a party in the bar until 11:15pm and there was zero chance of relaxing or sleeping through it. Large groups of young drunk adults playing loud music until 2am. There was also a fight between two separate campers behind our tent and the police ended up being called. In all my years of camping, I’ve never experienced anything like it. Felt very unsafe and unfriendly.

It is advertised as a family friendly site and it 100% is not family friendly.

Toilets were blocked by 10pm and only 1 was usable in the morning.

This is a really relaxed and safe site in a beautiful location. Fully recommend for a weekend or overnight stay, as we did. The cowshed is a delightful place to refuel at anytime of day

Great walking close to Monsal Trail
Bus stop No.65 nearby. Handy for Buxton or Bakewell.

Whilst the showers were out, we knew before we left and it was the first thing we were advised of on arrival so no complaints.

Great location, plenty of space, on-site cafe/restaurant, friendly greeting.

Minimal amount of flat pitches, very muddy making it hard to get on and off pitches, showers out of action, lights not working in gents toilets, gents seemingly uncleaned for the duration of stay.

Overall, the price of the stay felt expensive considering the lack of facilities.

3rd year in a row we’ve gone to Beltonville, really do enjoy the stay here. Everything down from the service and food to the camping grounds is fantastic. Unlike other campsites there aren’t harsh rules on what to do and what you’re not allowed to do. Easy access to clean toilets and fresh water.

The location can’t be any better only a 10 minute drive to buxton and shops, with the shop inside the cafe selling wood for a good price and other camping supplies if needed! 👏👏

The farm shop was convenient and the location is good

On arrival we were told the showers and hot water wasn't working and that we was informed when we booked which wasn't the case, there was no mention that the showers wasn't working.
The reason why we booked the pitch eas because of the showers so this was pretty disappointing on arrival we could have booked somewhere else. On top of this we were told sometimes they work sometimes they don't so we wasted around £5 on top trying out the showers.
It would have been nice to of been informed about the facilities before hand and given the option for refund so we could book somewhere else with showers.

Lovely site with great Resturant and farm shop. We had a lovely breakfast there and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy to check-in, able to pitch up wherever we liked. Perfect location for lots of nearby walks.

Unfortunately none of the showers were working. I understand this was due to the pumps having frozen and broken as it’s winter and when we told the team they were very apologetic. Was slightly challenging finding a flat spot for our tent and some of the ground was a bit rocky. There was another area we could have tried but, due to it being winter the ground was wet and muddy so cars were getting a bit stuck, so we didn’t chance it.
