The location, greenery. Cleanliness of shared services. Its great that the pod had an electricity outlet. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

The charges for the extra 2 pax even without any additional chairs offered in the pod.

Lovely welcome by the lovely lady on the reception. So cheerful, helpful and friendly.
The site is so quiet, rural in the woods, birds chirping, trees swaying otherwise all quiet.
So peaceful. Shame we only stayed one night on the way to another site.
We will certainly return for longer next time.

What an amazing site. We were in campervan pitch 2 and it was great. In a small section with 2 other pitches which were empty for some of our stay - our pitch backed onto the woods and was lovely and peaceful but only a short distance from the toilets and showers.
Shared communal areas were great (we could even watch the euro finals on the tv with other campers which was fun). Toilets and showers were basic but clean and never had long queues despite it being school holidays. There were microwaves, plugs to charge your phone, washing machines etc. everything you might need.
Plenty of walks in the woods with the dog - We loved the tent pitches in the trees and would go for them next time if we came without the campervan.
Lots to do in the area - we visited Buckfast Abbey, Totnes & Torquay, and had lots of lovely walks. We had a great time and would definitely return again. Nothing to fault at all.

We loved being in nature on this beautiful and quiet site. Being able to walk a short distance to the local village pub is great.

Not a dislike but the ladies showers could do with improving. The shower heads are small and don’t work especially well, you also have to keep constantly pushing the button to run the shower. Could also do with some shelving to put shower items on, there are a few small hooks but these aren’t sufficient.

The toilet facilities could do with modernisation and updating.

4th time visiting Ashborne woods. Excellent facilities alongside clean kitchen area, laundry room and bathroom/shower rooms.

Staff are always very polite and helpful.

Will be returning again for certain.

Certain criteria below dont really apply like accomodation as that depends what tent you get i guess. The pre existing glamping tents do look very spacious and nice though if thats your thing. As for wifi, its a campsite… its either fields or woods, if youre expecting wifi maybe dont go camping :)
