Lots of space to set up camp and for kids to play in. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It had everything we needed for a great holiday. Showers with hair dryer, laundry, toilets and shop. Close to the beach with a corner shop and great chippy round the corner.

Showering facilities need some work. Lots of hot water, which is great, but nowhere to sit down to put your shoes on etc. Lack of doors and locks in Mens side meant you lacked any privacy. Considering you pay £1 for every 5 minutes they could be a bit cleaner.

Fantastic pod very well equipped and great location. Lovely and clean and hot tub was fantastic

Location is stunning, plenty privacy, Toilets are clean, Cleanliness & having no signal (really was a blessing!)
P.s, it is minimum 30min walk with little ones (take the car) and (walk through Haven, don’t bother with the long dubious road), really is quite a trek from the tent field to the beach.
Would stay again with partner, just not with kids.

Purchasing tokens to use the shower (annoying as we came back from beach after 7pm and reception was closed), not allowed fire pits & bit pricey for just a tent.
Probably not suited for children either if you want a park or football goals etc.

Kaylene was very lovely and helped us if we ever needed help! The field was very clean and toilets and showers always checked

Had to wait a little while before checking in, however when I called the number on the email someone came within 10 minutes to check us in.

Kids had loads of room to run round and play. Rode their bikes round made friends.
Beautiful surrounding sceneary.
Beach few mins drive down the road.

Shower blocks water either freezing cold or scolding hot.
Massive snake outside toilet block, no warning signs to be wary of snakes.
Reception being closed/unmanned quite often.
Going on to pitch to be told sorry the grass is long our lawn mower is broke.

Views and location

The shower block could do with an upgrade. Also the showers are operated by a token that can be purchased from the reception, we weren't made aware of that on arrival.

Went here a few years ago and whilst it was good then, the new owners have polished what was already a well situated site. Perfect for dogs and very welcoming staff.

Location - that's it!!!!

Well where do I start! This place was like a building site when we arrived with no one or contact details at the reception desk and you can't get onto the site without a pass code for the gate.

There are new clamping pods being put in at the first field with diggers and rubble around - this is where I managed to find someone to let us in. We were not expected at the site and sent right down to an end field with what can only be described as construction workers facilities there and they were horrendous. The wash block was a trek away and felt like an open barn barn with a few basic facilities there - it was not clean.

There are a lot of parked up caravans there that are shabby and it's not at all welcoming - do not be fooled by the pictures on the site, they do not reflect the experience.
