Lovely peaceful location. Great to have only 2 pitches (becoming 1 next year). Very clean toilet and shower. Great to have own toilet too. Lovely produce in honesty shop including fresh eggs, tomatoes etc. Brilliant amount of space for kids to play.

Beautiful location and very peaceful. Lovely welcome from Chris and Vicky and close to beaches at Saundersfoot and Tenby. Lots of space for our dog to have a run around especially in the allocated dog field.

Just returned from 6 nights camping at the wonderful Thorny Bush. We were greeted by Vicki who couldn’t have been more helpful. Explained about where things were and how things worked and also about the local area. The site only has 2 camping pitches, both with EHU. The facilities are very basic but very clean. Each pitch has their own toilet and you share a shower. There is a small ‘shop’ on site where Vicki sells some of her home grown produce as well as eggs from her chickens and strawberry jam made by her mum.
If you want entertainment and bells and whistles this site isn’t for you. But if like us, you want peace and quiet, sounds of nature and a lovely view then this site IS for you.
Thank you Vicki for such a relaxing break. We will be back.

The friendliness of our host, the quiet and peaceful surroundings, the view and the shower. Vicki made recommendations when we asked for places to eat out etc, and she let our daughter help her collect the chickens' eggs. We had amazing skies at night time due to very little air pollution. The honesty shop was also great.

Really can't fault Thorny Bush at all! Vicki is really lovely and always on hand should you need help with anything.

Having only two camping pitches on site makes it feel much more "exclusive" compared to the hustle and bustle of normal sites.

Each pitch is allocated its own toilet which is a lovely touch and they're close enough to the pitches that you can happily allow the kids to go by themselves with no worries

Also should you choose to stay here, I highly recommend you buy eggs on site and try the milkshakes just down the road at the Simply Milk vending machine!

I wouldn't necessarily say this is a negative point as it's purely down to individual preference but for us it would have been nice to have on site WiFi as phone signal seemed to drop every now and then

Lovely location and very friendly owners. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. We bought some eggs from their chickens which we're looking forward to eating.

Loved everything about the cabin, it was spotless, 100% safe for the dogs and very friendly host! The cabin had everything we needed, even really good internet connection. Our dogs absolutely loved the freedom of being able to roam in a safe environment and we could relax knowing they were safe! The bonus for us was the enclosed field, although there was plenty of space in the hive garden it was nice to change it up a bit

Greeted by Vicki as soon as I arrived and shown me around. Love that I had my own toil & the shower was excellent. Only 2 electric pitches so it was nice and quiet, slept well waiting to do ironman Wales.
Also a nice touch as woke up to find fresh eggs outside my tent as its a working small holding/farm. No wifi however good signal three mobile.

Peaceful, lovely views , a lovely welcome from the owners. Nothing too much trouble. Pet friendly.

Nothing to dislike

Literally everything was perfect.
Vicki meet us on arrival and showed us round. Gave us plenty of local information on places to visit ,eat etc. Honestly just a lovely lovely person. It felt as if we'd known Vicki for years!

The Hive is just magical. It's cosy yet plenty of space. Travelling group of 2 adults 1 teen and two collie dogs.
Lovely little arrival refreshments & biscuits for the dogs. Plenty of logs for the fire,which was soooo cosy by night. Everything in and around The Hive was spotless and it has such a homily feel to it.

We were blown away by the beauty of the enclosed garden & field walk. Perfect for the dogs and stretching the legs in the morning
It was mainly beach walks and paddleboarding for us.
The location is fabulous. Only a short drive to a number of beaches. Saundersfoot is lovely for a look around the shops and restaurants .

One night we sat out on the decking watching the stars it was simply the perfect end to the day.
Really looking forward to returning.
