As for the shower/toilet block this was just vile there is mould around the tiles in the showers & the dirt under the shower floormats was just unacceptable the shower heads are grimy too! also the lights go off wen your on the loo or in the shower! i didnt see one cleaner there the whole 4 days i stayed!
I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay and your comments appear to be comparing us to a 4 star hotel with private en-suite facilities.
Other guests staying the same time as yourselves have given positive reviews saying how nice and clean the facilities were and even extended their stay with us. As there was a lot of rain and this is a campsite mud and grass will be walked into the toilets and showers, the cleaner was there twice on the Thursday you arrived and 3 times per day on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday, again twice on the Monday you left, I do not know how you missed them!
I will pass on your comment regarding the lights on a timer as now we are out of season there are not many guests using them and the sensors are not in the toilets.

The bugs are annoying as lots of fields and water around. We have had a fairly dry summer making the ground very hard, campers using the metal pegs with plastic tops had difficulty getting them out of the ground and many broke off.
The phone signals are poor at times even in the office, mind you it does stop work getting in touch with you and those with teenagers do not need to confiscate their phones which can be a bonus.

Campsite was noisy with road noise from nearby main thoroughfare. Party ongoing until 3:00 am. Poor lighting in general and poor signage for anything including the site vehicle exit.
When you arrived in the evening I was in the middle of sending a guest due to stay an urgent email and asked the other staff to member to check you in to avoid you having to wait. I am sorry that you felt neglected and ignored by us and did not enjoy your overnight stay.
When I came out at 10pm to lock the gates I checked that there was no music being played or loud talking, the whole of the campsite at this point was very quiet. On the front of your check-in card under your pitch number and above your name is printed the 24 hour number to call for any issues or concerns whilst you are staying.
The field you stayed on has low lighting in several areas and the lights from the washing-up sinks and showers/toilets also light up the bridge across to them. When you book on Pitch-up under the Please Note section it says, Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
As the campsite is near the main road there will be some traffic noise.
I am sorry you did not enjoy your 1 night stay.
The showers and toilets had 3 daily cleans and we ask guests to tidy up after themselves as much as possible, this is in writing along with the campsite rules handed out when everyone checks-in.
Our prices are in-line with other campsites in Kent.
