We absolutely love coming to stay here. It is such a huge area that you are never on top of anyone else. There is so much freedom for our children to play. We love taking a walk down alongside the water and looking for the canoes and waving to passers by.
The toilets and showers are always available in both blocks, you rarely have to queue up and wait. They’re cleaned regularly so that’s never an issue for us.
We love the weekend boot fairs too, breaks up the stay for us. Overall it’s a 10/10. We have been staying for five years and will continue to come back again.

The only things we dislike is that they don’t offer WiFi but we can understand that with how big the site is. We’d also like to see something like a fridge/freezer area for us to re-freeze our ice blocks on the non electric pitches. We really like the look of the other field but it’s too far to the shower and toilet blocks to walk, we’d like if there was another block available in the other field. And we’d also love if they offered a storage solution to store our camping equipment there. We camp there nearly every weekend in the summer and struggle to fit everything in the car. We’d happily pay to store things there ☺️

Ignore the previous 1 Star Review by the Absolute morons that camped at hop farm, let’s get straight to the facts as we had to witness everything.

- They did not have any respect or care in the world for anyone on the site.

- They were making sexual Comments towards my partner.

- They were so drunk and disorderly they attacked the members of staff so the police had to be called to which they are now banned from the site and the police stated they wanted to arrest all of them but there was too many of them. 30+ people.

- They were told before they even setup camp they cannot block any public pathways yet they still decided to try and have there own pathway and corner etc using cars and vans to block the corner off.

- They had not been to the campsite for 7 years before they decided to turn up and terrorise the public and staff.

- They were asked at 10pm to turn off the music to which they did until the staff had left and then it came straight back on again going on past midnight screaming and shouting so quite rightly the staff came back and told them that as per the rules they would need to confiscate the sound system until 9am the next morning as they didn’t listen to which they all got extremely aggressive throwing punches at the staff and even men strangling the poor female staff member.

We have been camping here for almost every weekend now for the last 2 months and it’s an amazing place to go, it’s just some people love to come down ruin everyone’s fun and then proceed to moan, lie and complain about it on the reviews so take no notice of them, there are so many fields you can camp on so if there are any big groups it so easy to camp well clear of them, the staff are very friendly and respectful even offered us a complimentary stay for the drama we had to witness

Nothing this place is amazing, DO NOT let the bad people who leave bad reviews discourage you from this place.

Love everything about hop farm have been lots of times now with and without the choldren and dog but always with the kayaks. So much space that even when busy you feel like it isn’t, nice and chilled vibes owners arent in your face at all, logs and ice and other camping essentials all readily available, toilet block could be a touch cleaner but to be honest given the amount of people around it could be much worse, never a queue to wash up, easy access to the river from multiple areas. Our favourite place to stay

Not much to dislike of youre good with basic down to earth camping, ehu spots are quite close to others when bust but having got a solar panel power point we’re exploring more of the open fields

Facilities nice and clean, we were able to find a nice quiet pitch. Friendly staff.

Not alot to be honest

Der Campingplatz ist sehr weitläufig und groß. Es gibt mehrere Plätze mit Strom und Wasser sowie sehr viele auf freier Wiese.
Allgemein ist es nicht weit zum Bahnhof Beltring (15 Minuten zu Fuß) oder man nimmt den Bus vom Eingang in Richtung Bahnhof Paddock Wood, so dass man innerhalb einer Stunde London erreicht.
Preislich gesehen gibt es in Europa bessere Campingplätze mit mehr Angebot, wobei positiv ist, dass Frischwasser und Strom inklusive ist.
Für Kinder gibt es direkt auf dem Platz nur eine Reifenschaukel. Weiter vorn wahrscheinlich einen kleinen "Freizeitpark", den wir jedoch nicht genutzt haben und gar nicht bemerkt haben, ob dieser überhaupt geöffnet ist (Samstag war alles zu).

Eine Abwasserentsorgung gibt es leider nicht, eine WC-Entsorgung ist vorhanden. Die Duschen und Toiletten sind ok, wenngleich nicht allzu sauber (Spinnen, kleine Tierchen, Dreck). Es fehlt leider auf so einem großen Platz eine Waschmaschine.
